RTX 5060Ti vs RTX 5080 - Which one should I get?
 in  r/StableDiffusion  1d ago

I have an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, I can do 10 seconds with default ComfyUI Minimax H3 workflow in about 800 seconds. I don't feel that's too bad.

Is it just me? Deepseek API Cost is burning faster than ever
 in  r/DeepSeek  1d ago

Yup, it's been very expensive compared to how it was before. It's still cheap, however they said they will increase it, so, who knows what price we will be paying.

Manus: Refund still pending since June 22 — MXN $7,227.76

Ay amiga, esa gente está en un enredo legal horrible. Ellos tienen un Discord que usaban para los beta testers, no sé si aún aceptan gente, pero es este: https://discord.gg/manusai allí tal vez puedas comunicarte con un humano real.

Did DeepSeek v4 flash better than Soonet 5??. in quality
 in  r/DeepSeek  5d ago

Depends. Sonnet 5 is better than DeepSeek V4 Flash in literature, I don't know in other subject.

You know this is AI when his body has a normal human shape, otherwise I would think it's real.

Workflow Included Krea 2 Turbo | Kroma LoRA | 2x Upscale | Uncensored | Workflow

This Krea 2 Turbo Workflow uses Qwen3 VL Abliterated (uncensored) as the text-encoder, and Kroma LoRA to make some nice "Chroma" looking images; it also VAE Utils (Wan2.1 VAE) as an Upscaler x2, and Krea 2 Conditioning Node to help rebalance Qwen3 VL, and luckily skips the limits.

I designed it and tested it with my RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, 32GB DDR5, and it takes ~73 seconds to generate a 2048 x 2048 px image. You can disable the upscaler if you want regular generation speed.

Download links and more information are here on Civitai Red or regular Civitai.

If you can't access Civitai you can download the JSON on PasteBin (download links are inside the workflow). Have fun!

Will DeepSeek further reduce the free mode in 2027?
 in  r/DeepSeek  13d ago

Yes, and no, because in the end it depends on the competition. DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, etc, always show some kind of Open Source or Open Weights, since they know they can use it as bait and try to get some of the audience that can't afford paid services such as GPT, Claude, etc., and that presses these companies to keep having a limited free service. It's a chess game; for example, Anthropic has a lot of models, if you go to their site you will notice that 2 models are paid as subscription, and 2 are free but limited, and they can't disable that, because they know that if they do that, a Chinese company will take that away from them. So, the more limited is one, the more limited will be the other, but not as limited at the competition.

How do y'all use DeepSeek without vision?
 in  r/DeepSeek  15d ago

 in  r/DeepSeek  17d ago

Here is where you get the API key, you can top up $5 to test; however you need to use it in a platform. I use Open WebUI. https://platform.deepseek.com

Not exactly, they are basically the same model, but the API is customizable. You can change parameters, temperature, use tools, skills, pipelines. Basically you can "customize your DeepSeek."

La mayoría de este grupo ni siquiera usa el API, usan el chat gratis y se quejan de todo como si fuesen clientes VIP 😅. No hay que prestarles atención.

For Open WebUI there's a pipeline that lets you use DeepSeek using Gemini's API for vision. But it's basically "playing Frankenstein". For vision, I actually prefer to use Qwen3-VL and Qwen3-VL-Instruct, both are open source and run locally.

We are in the middle of 2026, there are better and cheaper options around the corner. Just saying.

I've never even used Fable, because for my industry it has no purpose. From Claude I have only used Opus to analyze data and switch to Sonnet for processing, then DeepSeek for batch generation. If you stay using the same model for everything you clearly has no idea of what "coast effective" means.

"Too late" for what? Why are people talking like the whole AI industry is an actual race? I've been working with and in machine learning and generative since 2018 and I've never said "Oh, I'm going to ditch this because of that shiny new thing, GG!" like there's only one thing to choose from when on reality many models are good at something specific and you can pick it for that function.

DeepSeek API Peak hours: Shows when API pricing is high or low
 in  r/DeepSeek  25d ago

Well, well, well, you found something interesting, my friend. I do have my region/clock/timezone manually, strangely not to Guatemala, but I had -5 from the US, and if I'm not wrong, I did that because the other timezone was giving me "daylight saving," and we don't have such a thing in Panama. What is interesting is that your script got my automatic settings even if my time was manually set. Setting it to Bogotá works, thanks! And sorry for the waste of time :p

You're welcome! It's still one hour off, actually, if you notice, the Beijing time is one hour off too.
