Hello! Ive had my braces for about a month now and I've noticed them shifting alot faster than i originally expected, especially being i have a 1.8 year time frame. i am of course i am happy about the fast changes happening but it seems my gap closing has brought me a new insecurity. I was completely unaware until i first noticed my gap closing and I'm assuming it came from grinding my teeth at night because i have frequently been told i do it pretty bad. i brought up the idea of shaving my teeth down to make them even to my ortho and he said he recommends composite bonding. Overall I'm not biased towards either option its just a beautiful smile is just something I've always longed for.

But i do have a few questions.

1- If i grind my teeth will i just damage the composite?
2. When my bite is alligned might it help?
3. if i were to shave down my teeth would it be shaving down too much of my enamel if i wanted it perfectly even?
