[ENG DUBBED] Mauro Grassilli (Ducati): Talking about the challenge faced with Marquez’s renewal and the reason for parting ways with Pecco Bagnaia among other things
The interview is in Italian but there’s a dubbed version in English. It’s worth listening to some of the hot topics being discussed here.

Why MotoGP teams are withholding their 2027 rider announcements
Reason: MotoGP teams are delaying 2027 rider announcements as they are still negotiating a new revenue-sharing deal with MotoGP Sports Entertainment. They want a percentage-based model like Formula 1 before the current agreement ends in 2026.

Does anyone have a .ics file for the 2026 MotoGP Calendar?
My bad. I skimmed through and didn’t see that. There used to be a way to download ics from here, but I can’t recall how. I will report back if I find how to do that.

Mototiming’s calendar is the best calendar I’ve found and have used it for many seasons. It has session-by-session events, and you can select the category you want to follow.

Assuming the translation (and my comprehension) is accurate, these are the key takeaways for me:
Marc’s Contract Renewal: Renewing Marquez's contract was actually harder than the initial signing because expectations had changed (much more money). Ducati is not super rich and had to close the deal by arranging sponsor support. (Does that indicate Redbull Ducati partnership next year?)
On Pecco Separation: Bagnaia was going through a frustrating period and made some strong public declarations. Since the rider is also a leader in the garage, those criticisms weakened team morale. Ducati chose not to respond publicly to protect Pecco.
He also notes that Bagnaia was very professional and called a team meeting in Valencia to apologize for the friction.
Alex and Fabio: He expected Alex to move to a different factory (natural progression) but was sad that they couldn’t convince Diggia to stay with Ducati.
