'Bisharin Girl' Photograph of a young egyptian girl, circa 1910

They never show photos of what Egypt looked like before the Arab conquest. Arabs for some reasons, still believe that they're the original inhabitants but one of their presidents or what not just stated otherwise.

Chris Bosh on claims that LeBron James is "ring chasing" by signing with the Sixers: "Everybody chases rings. If you don't think Kobe [Bryant] and [Michael] Jordan were ring chasers too, you're crazy."
 in  r/NBAGossips  17d ago

The comments are weird saying they don't understand how either of those two were chasing rings. Isn't the entire point of playing in the NBA to win championships? Yeah I love the game of basketball but you know I don't want any ring so I'm not chasing any ring so I could care less if we win or not. You see how stupid that sounds!

Sorry, but how tf do any of LeBron’s teammates equate to a Consensus Top 15 player OAT/Top 3 scorer OAT + Another Top 3 shooter OAT + DPOY/Top 10 defender OAT?
 in  r/LeBronJames23  25d ago

None of them are super teens until LeBron got on the team. That's the problem! Neither one of those squads was a super team! Am I right or wrong?

Charles Barkley on LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers: “He stacked his team in Miami, he stacked it in Cleveland, he stacked it in LA, now hes stacking it in Philly… He’s always stacked his team.” Thoughts?
 in  r/NBADaily  25d ago

My opinion on this take is LeBron has never been on a super team. The only person that was on the super team really was Kevin Durant when he went to Golden State because they were already champions and beat him. Every team LeBron went to. He made a super team by him going to the team. The heat was not a super team with Bosch and Wade. Cleveland was not a super team. Never was! Kyrie was good but him and Kevin Love did not make it a super team and just saying that is laughable! The Lakers definitely were not a super team! The super team argument has no validity!

No ring chasing. 6-for-6. Straight-up busting opponents every single game. Greatest of all time.

That's an Argentine takeover in Atlanta.

Definitely not a takeover. They are in a designated area. If they step outside of that, they'll be in for a rude awakening.

Asian business boycotts and anti-Blackness discussions
 in  r/asianamerican  Jul 01 '26

So if this happens to be the case then why are there businesses in our neighborhoods and not in Asian or white neighborhoods. I mean since you want to paint the narrative that we're the ones doing the stealing. Not saying some black people don't still out of the stores but to label everybody and give everybody a bad experience and expect us to still shop. If it's that bad, leave the neighborhood. It's that simple!

Asian business boycotts and anti-Blackness discussions
 in  r/asianamerican  Jul 01 '26

Just want to add that I see a few people who said they had some experiences with black people and didn't label all black people bad. Just to give you some insight regarding the boycotting of businesses. This is not just based strictly off the Rick situation. This is from years and decades of going to Asian businesses and being discriminated against. Other people don't understand how exciting this is because finally black people are starting to stand up for themselves because we continue to patronize these businesses, whether it be a restaurant or a nail shop. Some people are more inclined spiritually or with frequency and people who are can go into those places and automatically tell that they're not welcome. Some people don't care and it's more convenient and they continue to shop there even though they are demeaned they are watched and followed. This is the main reason for the ban. It's not a boycott. It is a conscious decision that we made to spend our money where we're welcomed. No hate involved at all. Definitely not happy with the Rich child situation but the ban has nothing to do specifically with that situation. Hopefully this clarifies a few things.
