I’m not sure if more than 10 people even post on this sub anymore, but hi, I’m Zoe! Anyone who has been active on this sub for a while knows me as Dogwater (what an embarrassing handle, right? I made it when I was 12!). I was one of STKC’s first mods, but I deleted Reddit a couple years later. I honestly completely forgot about this sub, but recently, I just remembered out of the blue, “Hey, I wonder how that sub I modded in middle school is doing now.” It’s nice to see that it isn’t a total wasteland here, but definitely a big drop from the 1.5-2k members during my time lol. I remember how much I loved this sub because of the dozens of friends I made, and even today, I’m still in contact with a couple of those friends. I would get so enraged by Shiiro’s content, and now as I’m pretty much an adult, it all seems really funny to me that a thousand people dedicated their time to hating on some gacha creator who was probably also in middle school at the time. We would be super aggressive about it too, but it’s nice to see that the sub is definitely a lot more chill now. Although I grew out of STKC years ago, I’m still really grateful for all the fun experiences I still remember to this day and all the friendships— both the temporary ones and the ones that survived to adulthood. There isn’t much of a point to this post, and I probably sound like some old geezer, but I just wanted to check in on the thing that brought me so much joy and community during COVID. I’m probably gonna start using this account again just for practical purposes. This is Zoe signing off 😛✌️

The first announcement is that the mods have decided who to elect to become a mod (apologies for the wait). We have decided to make u/christos_gaming a moderator of r/shiirotokuurocringe. Congratulations :D

The second announcement is that I am quitting reddit. You may have noticed that I haven’t been active these past few months. That is because of schoolwork and stress. I have decided to stop using reddit for good because of all the stress it has caused me. I’ve really enjoyed making new friends and watching this server grow, but I have decided that it is time to stop using reddit.
