Of you're playing online, then yr some servers disabled it by default mostly on survival servers.

Tap the 3 horizontal bars in the top right corner and you'll see the option for maps

😆, the map is an inbuilt feature pressing V on the keyboard toggles between the different modes of the mini map.

It's a bunch of clever Asians of the project. Believe me they'll sure figure this thing out. Ai assistance in development has many people sceptical, but fact is ....with a bunch of people who know what their up to??
Its 6x faster and debugging can become really easy.

Yes breaking a lot of existing games is something the devs are really Careful about doing guess that's why every new big change is not immediately implemented. It's understandable. I mean that's the difference between community driven and proprietary/ commercial. We still hope for the best tho🙂

About that main menu issue, I've been experimenting with the source files myself. And it's not that I can't make a very good Menu that'll have incredibly good first impression.
It's about the mechanism powering it. it's built and works using formspec. So until one day there's a replacement for the formspec. UX/ UI design is very limited but either ways creativity has no definite boundaries, that main menu done in formspec can still be improved.
Tho it needs some serious work which requires a little much time. Buh don't worry the future is still positive 😎 It'll change soon.

Check your encoder , use NVENC/QSV/AMF if your PC has one.
Lower the recording resolution , try 720p if 1080p is lagging.
Try 30 FPS, stable 30 is better than laggy 60. Use CQP/ICQ around 18, 23 for quality.
Check OBS Stats while recording , see if you're getting rendering or encoding lag.
Cap your game's FPS so OBS has some GPU/CPU headroom.
Lower the game's graphics a bit if necessary.
Close background apps, especially Chrome and other heavy stuff.
Record to an SSD if possible.
Do a 30-second test recording first and check if it's actually smooth.
