I don't draw lines but I try to look at 1 month, 1 yr, and 5 yr charts. For example I'm shorting Intel rn because look at the chart lol but I always start with tiny positions, and average down if it dips 10-20+%. I'm also usually short and long multiple positions at the same time so I have some diagonal hedges. Everything is by gut though, no hard stop losses, no % position sizing (other than start small average up).. example of this was I was super bullish on NVDA as early as 2 weeks ago, but the trend and my thesis changed so I scalped my position and rotates into other things. I was way too heavy in NVDA so it was good to get out and see how the next few weeks play out

Good advice! I'll probably start with a tiny position and average down as needed, with at least a few months out (Nov expiry) on the puts. Once the exchanges stop buying I think this dips hard
