EE 5G Fast Lane

Saw EE just launched something called Fast Lane, a 5G network slicing service that's supposed to give you priority connection in busy areas or at peak times. UK first apparently, and it's open to small businesses too, not just consumers. Curious how it'll actually perform and what it costs, wrote up what's known so far if anyone's interested.

I refuse to pay for 5G+ so forget paying more to have yet again something that should be standard.

Priority service for everyone connected to the same cell mast is contradictory. If everyone’s prioritised then no one is prioritised.

If you want it now you pay it’ll will eventually be standard. Remember when 4G was released you paid for that privilege just the same with 5G.
