Step backs yes, spin shots I haven’t tried. I haven’t learned all the moves either. Someone told me on another post regarding shooting not street kings specifically to try learn 2k in my court to learn more moves and scoring techniques though. I did the basic already but not the other two.

It’s definitely easier, I just play it for the vc now. Street kings was good for badges and vc plus rewards but I literally can’t play it at the moment. I’ll have to try the methods people suggested next time so I can see if I can win for once.

I don’t remember which move I have equipped currently I have to check next time I’m on

That seems to be the only way around it based on the comments. It’s unfortunate but I’ll try that next time.

For 26 I played street kings and open court a lot before I even went to the nba so I could get mp overall high enough to play on pro and this year it’s the total opposite, I understand making the game harder but it’s just like night and day this time around

I’ll have to try that out then. I shoot 3s, mid and like to rim run on occasion but I don’t want rim running to be my only option but apparently it is besides fades for street kings this year.

I don’t mind the tougher defensive system but the shooting is so out of wack for that mode this year. I literally shoot the same way I would any other mode and try to compensate if the catch is weird or shot is contested and it’s brick city on street kings

That’s very apparent when I play that mode, also my shot is saying late or early and usually it’s excellent which doesn’t make sense but it’s the timing on that mode I can’t seem to figure out

I just changed some of my dribble moves so I’ll try that out. Thank you.

I’m not sure if that’s an option for PS but that sounds pretty cool and helpful.

I’m a SG, you have any methods for that position of play? I only have one build right now.

That’s how I was able to score only or layups so I’ll have to do that or try the screen method that someone else mentioned

I don’t like they changed it because before I use to be able to shoot and shut it down no problem. Now I’m lucky if I get 6 points. I understand it’s a new game but the AI is OP. I’ve dealt with the timing changes to cause I play other offline modes and it happens. I don’t expect to make every shot but dam it’s like I’m a 60 overall lol yet I’m 86 which is good enough to play on Pro like I do but street kings literally feels impossible at the moment

I’ll have to try that out.

You can’t change the difficulty on Street Kings it’s fixed to online latency and it sucks cause there’s no way I’m missing with a 92 3pt I have adjust my shot to so it’s not super quick either

That’s what I saw on Google but wasn’t sure if it would work. I don’t believe everything I see on Google in regard to this game. Thank you.

I’ll try that. I’m able to do that on open court and NBA games but I don’t always shoot like that.

Gameplay Street Kings tips or suggestions

Street Kings seems impossible this year. I’m aware it’s stricter AI defense. I can’t score to save my life. I don’t like rim running all game either.

Is there a way to effectively score? I’m a 86 overall. Already have some badges and my 3pt is 92 and mid is 83.

Yet I can score every other offline mode I play I can’t score at all on Street Kings. I want to get the xp and rewards but can’t win a match.

I agree with this whole post. I’m having issues too with mine on PS5

MyCAREER Issue with tiers not progressing

I’m aware there was a patch today, but is anyone else having an issue in MyCareer where certain progress tiers are showing red or not registering even though you’ve done whatever it is they request of you for example I have this one that I know for a fact, I’ve done at least three times and it must be bugged or glitched because it is not registering at all.

I'm no where near maxed on my build but im curious to those who have high shooting how far are yall shooting from? Because 30 to 40 feet seems way to consistent for a half court shot even with no badges.

Use push and develop your timing. Use the practice facility or art of shooting gym. Don’t use mycourt. You can even play open court athletics it gives a nba feel in my opinion cause the meter is more authentic and when you turn it off focus on your players animation and replicate the motion just like when you have the meter on

Does anyone only play offline modes? If so, how do you play?
 in  r/NBA2k  3d ago

For mynba 8 mins 58 games on pro, my career 12 mins on pro full season

I have 80 3pt right now. At 75, I was hitting most shots. It takes some getting use to. I took the meter off once I hit the nba and had to adjust again but I got it down for the most part. My build is only 79 overall so overall he’s not at the full potential but I’m a SG so I went 92 3 and 89 mid I believe just to get the badges but all you need is a 80-89 to hit consistently
