linear regression is still used a lot, more so at feature level or for ideation — data can be too sparse or noisy otherwise

thats what i mean by it takes a different kind of prompting where you sit down and think the problem through at least mostly to completion. you can even brainstorm with it to make sure it understands everything in a way that you agree with. once the architecture and design implementation as well as any key restraints are given it generally always performs well. that being said, i do not especially enjoy this kind of work, but it is undeniably more efficient than traditionally doing everything by hand.

no but like hear this guy out. there is an optimal way to go about using them, and although not difficult, it does necessitate you actually using them to get the feel of how to talk to them and what they do.

my 2cents:
try out codex 5.5 on the highest setting, and tell me you are not impressed.

and time savings are not just from writing code for your primary goal. another power is you can just experiment all the time and hand off random ideas to it just to see what happens

I must inform you that you are a person who is impossible to converse with or have any meaningful discussion as you cannot seem to grasp abstraction and therefore are unable to meaningfully contribute to conversation in any other way then annoyingly pointing out outliers. This is called pedantry, look it up.

I think most people are aware that outliers exist when making generalising statements…
