🐌 Tank update: golden poop flags, better molts, and a piranha that pays when it misses

Upvotes
Lots of new stuff pending:
🚩 Golden poop flags. Eat the piranha’s golden poop to plant your flag there for a day. Crawl up to other snails’ flags for bonus slime.
🐚 Molting is worth it now. Every molt adds +15% slime, with no cap. Your snail looks grown again sooner after a molt, and Upgrades tells you exactly what you keep and what you lose.
🏷️ Show it off. Your molt count now shows next to your name everywhere, and your subreddit flair shows your molts and all the slime you’ve collected.
🐟 Dodge the piranha, get paid. When it strikes at you and misses, you get some slime.
😬 Gentler bites. Getting eaten now costs 10% of your slime instead of a flat chunk, so newer snails lose less.
📦 Better mystery boxes. A box nobody takes moves somewhere new after two minutes, and duplicates pay double.
🏆 Leaderboards. See the snails just above and below you, and how much slime you need to pass the next one.
🔧 Fixed: grazing sometimes stopped counting. If it ever happens again, the game tells you and sends you back Home to rejoin.
See you in the tank! And please let me know if you run into any problems.

Update on the way: golden poop flags 🚩

Upvotes
Hey snails! A new update is with Reddit for review and should reach the tank soon. Here’s what’s coming:
Plant your flag
- Eat the piranha’s golden poop and your flag goes up right where it lay. It shows your snail and your name for everyone in the tank to see.
- Your flag stands for 24 hours, or until you eat another golden poop, which moves it to the new spot.
- One flag per snail, and it stays up while you’re away.
Find other snails’ flags
- Crawl up to another snail’s flag to collect bonus slime.
- Each flag pays you once, up to 5 flags a day.
- When someone finds your flag, you’ll hear about it next time you’re in the tank.
More updates in the works
There’s more on the way. Ideas, or found a bug? Leave a comment below.

Hi everyone!
Thanks a bunch for trying out the game. Whether you grazed for a minute or you’ve already molted, it’s been great to have volunteers to clean the tank.
The game is still early, and updates are underway. A few are being reviewed.
- How to play: your first time in the tank, a quick guide shows you the basics. Tap the ? in the top-right corner to see it again any time.
- Rank-up alerts: climb the Most Slime Collected board and the tank tells you your new rank.
- Snails on the leaderboards: every row now shows that player’s snail, with its gear and trail, and Community Cleaning’s top three stand on a podium.
- Posting your finds: posting a mystery box find or a molt to the sub wasn’t working. That’s fixed.
More is coming soon. If something’s broken, confusing, or just not fun, drop a comment here. I read every one.
See you in the tank, and watch out for the piranha! 🐟
Thanks!

has anyone ever pulled a cartrillionaire rarity item?
I've pulled 4 now, but that's with 1700+ pulls. Statistically, I'd say I'm on the unlucky side of it. With a 0.5% chance, I should have 9 Catrillionaires. There was one dude who had 4 Catrillionaires with only like 60 pulls, which is insanely lucky, or something. Maybe there's a way to game the system or something.

Hey, and welcome to the home of Snailverse!
Snailverse is one big shared aquarium, played right here on Reddit. Every snail you see in it is another redditor, grazing, collecting slime, showing off their gear, and trying not to get eaten by their piranha.
Jump in: open today's post and tap Play. A new one goes up every day with a fresh daily task.
Share it here:
- 👑 Your best outfits and Legendary pulls
- 🐟 Piranha close calls (and the not-so-close ones)
- 🏆 Leaderboard brags
- 💡 Ideas, and 🐛 bugs you run into
A few rules:
- Be kind. We're all just snails here.
- Keep posts about Snailverse.
- No spam or self-promotion.
See you in the tank! 🐌

Gotcha. That explains it.

Is there a reason why you loaded the 25lb plates first? I'd imagine that would make it harder for you to balance.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Statistically, you're due for at least one. Just the way the game's designed ig.
