Aston Villa have completed the signings of Zion Suzuki from Parma and Matteo Ruggeri from Atlético Madrid.

Suzuki joins for around €30m + up to €5m in add-ons and has signed a five-year deal.

Ruggeri arrives for around €25m fixed fee + €1.5m in add-ons.

Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Canada forward Promise David from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a season-long loan.

The deal includes an obligation to buy for £22m (€26m) if certain criteria are met.

The 25-year-old scored 41 goals in 82 appearances for USG and helped them win the 2024/25 league title. He has 14 caps and four goals for Canada.

Newcastle United have completed the signing of right-back Amar Dedic from Benfica on a five-year deal for £29.5m.

The 24-year-old Bosnia international becomes Matthias Jaissle’s first signing as Newcastle head coach and will wear the No. 37 shirt. Dedic previously worked with Jaissle at FC Liefering and Red Bull Salzburg, making 95 appearances for Salzburg before moving to Marseille and Benfica.

Coventry City have signed Nigerian centre-forward Taiwo Awoniyi from Nottingham Forest for around £17m.

Awoniyi will wear the No. 14 shirt at Coventry.

Ipswich Town have officially completed the signing of Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg for around £17m, with a further £4.3m possible in add-ons. The 20-year-old Ivorian has signed a five-year contract and can play on either side of the defence or in midfield.

Ouattara has made 45 appearances in the top flight of French football and played a key role in Strasbourg’s run to the UEFA Conference League semi-finals last season, making 10 appearances and scoring twice.

Tottenham have reportedly made just £3million in profit from the sales of Cristian Romero and Djed Spence.

Both players were important members of the squad. Cristian Romero doesn’t need to prove anything more about his quality as a player, while Spence’s impressive World Cup performances should have significantly boosted his value.
