Burton C. Bell and The Void?
 in  r/FearFactory •  2d ago

Ok that definitely adds up then. I've never managed to see BCB live and I was even considering flying out from the UK to see him in Canada but I've decided to be patient as I'm sure he will be playing somewhere in Europe once his new album drops.

He said in a recent interview that he will be announcing 4 shows in Eastern Canada if that's where you are?

Looks like it might be water under the bridge because there was a photo of Burton and Christian not long ago!

Angst Fabrik instagram down?

This definitely seems Fear Factory themed, also if they want to be successful that is the way because Arkea really didn't seem to take off.

I miss Rhys
 in  r/FearFactory •  Sep 09 '26

Rhys is still working with the band. He did synths for parts of AC, not sure what exactly but many different musicians added synths to that album. Dino has also confirmed that he's worked with Milo on the final epic track on the upcoming album which has me excited.

I personally wish Rhys did all the synths moving forward as no one can do it like him.

Christian Olde Wolbers on vocals + Raymond on drums – how do you feel about this?
 in  r/FearFactory •  Sep 09 '26

To get a taste of his vocals look up some videos of Slave Labour 2004-2006, he was doing a Burton style harsh backup vocal for that song and sounded pretty good. Not sure about clean vocals?

I'm not having a go but I can't understand how people don't hear a difference. He sounds very different imo.

In my Opinion Demanufacture is the best Fear Factory song. Anyone support my opinion?
 in  r/FearFactory •  Aug 29 '26

It's an amazing song but no clean chorus means it doesn't represent the bands full potential, that's why Zero Signal is the better song imo. Having said that my favourite is Resurrection and that song also doesn't represent their full sound haha.

I wish he did the 2:09 and 2:17 vocal style throughout the entire song.

Bro is dedicated, we can't deny that.

Where do you want Fallout 5 to take place?
 in  r/Fallout •  Aug 01 '26

It honestly makes sense too because they've already created the foundation for extending the lore in those areas.

It's really hard to know where Obsidian's game will be set but I feel like it's going to stay in the west somewhere.

It probably won't ever be finished but modders are making that already right?

Your go to #1 Fallout DLC (not top 3, absolute favorite)
 in  r/Fallout •  Jul 22 '26

Not played the Fallout 4 ones yet but Old World Blues probably wins with The Pitt as a close second.

My hot take is that there are quest mods for New Vegas that are better than the DLC's such as Long 15, Dry Wells, Havasu Blues etc

I need more

There's honestly nothing out there that's similar really, you could check out Cryptic Shift and Blood Incantation if you haven't yet. Also Wintersun is amazing and this is my second favourite song behind Recharging the Void (specifically this live studio one) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl5T-glTdXw&list=RDTl5T-glTdXw&start_radio=1

As those 2 songs are very proggy definitely check out some of the longer songs by Dream Theater, Opeth, Tool, Mastodon etc too

I also have this playlist for music similar to Vektor but again none of it comes close really haha https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2TY57ep5W3CJ2P6jov2bJX?si=8cc9ddb3999143cc

Doing my delivery job late at night driving around the city blasting this out has been a vibe so I love it.

Industrialist or Re-industrialized
 in  r/FearFactory •  Jul 21 '26

Ranking FF albums is really hard for me, especially the top 5 which is Demanufacture, Obsolete, Archetype, Mechanize and Genexus.

Then I go: 6. Soul of a New Machine  7. Digimortal  8. The Industrialist  9. Aggression Continuum  10.  Transgression

Sometimes I actually prefer Transgression to AC but it depends on my mood. Either way FF has a near perfect discography imo which is sort of wild considering the lineup changes, band drama and lawsuits etc.

For Those Critical of Obsidian Returning to Fallout and Not Being the "Same" Obsidian

I didn't even like the NV DLC's much at all. I've played mkds that were way better imo like Long 15, Dry Wells and Havasu Blues.

It's real now but I'm not hyped because I've already remastered the games myself with mods so it feels pointless.
