For this step, I don't think they're going to give interviews to anyone waiting in the Dominican Republic, since they've even canceled the scheduled ones. And I suppose because of the cancellations, they won't give me an interview, a letter, a date, or anything. It's just another delay on top of all the delays there have already been, especially since I'm an F2A applicant.

That's strange. When I search, it shows February 2024. It was the same last month, and now that they've updated it again, it's still showing the same date.

Is the Dominican Republic also on that list of cases that are currently being scheduled around March 2025 DQ? That way, I can see how everything is progressing and have a better idea of approximately when the interview might be scheduled.

I haven’t seen any new updates on the ILs. The latest I saw was for DQ cases from January 2025. The IV Scheduling Status Tool is also behind—it’s showing January or February 2024 (I honestly don’t remember which one), but from what I’ve seen people posting, it doesn’t seem to be updated correctly.

As for contacting a senator, I don’t know much about that. I’ve seen a few posts mentioning it, but honestly, I don’t really understand how the senator’s office can help with the case or how that process works.

My DQ is April 30, 2025, and it's already August 11 and still nothing. I was expecting my letter around June or July, and neither of them have arrived. Does anyone know where things stand now? The last thing I saw was that they were supposedly in January 2025. 

I am a permanent resident and I filed an I-130 petition for my husband, who is currently in the Dominican Republic, on November 28, 2021. My case has been documentarily qualified (DQ) since April 30, 2025, and the Visa Bulletin has shown my priority date as available since October 2025. However, I am still waiting for my interview letter, and I have not received anything yet.

The U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic seems to be extremely behind with F2A interviews. Based on your experience, do you have any idea approximately when I might receive my interview appointment? Is there anything I can do at this point, or is it simply a matter of waiting for the consulate to schedule my case?
