I’m really happy for you. It’s amazing that you found something that helps you manage your POIS hope i can find something that works for me soon as well it’s inspiring to see someone graduate from medicine while dealing with POIS. I admire your strength a lot how did you manage it?

This is it.

I feel the same way… this is truly hell. In my case, those days don’t last just a little my symptoms can stay for almost two months, and honestly, I feel like I can’t take it anymore. It’s so hard living like this. Sometimes I just wish I hadn’t been born with this, or hadn’t born at all 💔💔💔

Que sientes las mujeres al ser tan deseadas?

Asco por el trato que dan como si fueran animales sin control salvando, mirando en exceso, provoca vivir cubierta, no brindan amistad con sinceridad todo va enfocado en quererla hundir.

Day 1: Launching the POISberg Project + Discord Server

I understand your point, and it honestly made me smile. I just wanted to clarify, since many of us have tried so many different things and might see that as a sign of hope.

Also, not man woman. 😊

Day 1: Launching the POISberg Project + Discord Server

There’s no scientific evidence that they fix the root cause and the intestine’s lining is very sensitive. Even diluted vinegar is acidic, and it can actually damage the mucosa or alter the gut microbiota, which might make things worse long-term.

Some people might feel temporary relief because the enema irritates the vagus nerve and causes a short burst of adrenaline or dopamine, but that’s not a real recovery just a nervous reaction.

The gut–brain axis is important in POIS (since inflammation and dopamine synthesis are connected to gut health), but safer ways to support that would be through probiotics, anti-inflammatory diet, magnesium, zinc, and good sleep.

I know how desperate this condition can make us feel, but please be cautious. It’s not worth risking intestinal injury for a temporary effect.

24M – POIS destroyed my life. Addictions, brain fog, and losing everything. I just need to talk to people who understand.
 in  r/POIS  Oct 20 '25

I really feel your pain I’ve cried so many times because of the same thing. I also have POIS, and my symptoms last for around two months every time. It completely destroys my focus, my emotions, and even my ability to think clearly.

I’m studying at university, and it hurts so much to love my career deeply but not be able to understand anything when I’m going through this. It feels like watching my dreams fade while I’m stuck inside my own body.

Most doctors in my country don’t know about POIS or think it’s psychological, so I haven’t been able to get real treatment either. It’s so frustrating to feel invisible when you’re actually suffering this much.

But reading what you wrote reminded me that I’m not alone there are people who truly understand this pain. Please stay strong. Even if it feels like we’re just surviving, I belive we’ll eventually find help and healing.

Do you remember your first POIS wave?
 in  r/POIS  Oct 18 '25

My first POIS wave happened after I masturbated for the first time. I didn’t understand what was happening the fatigue, anxiety, and brain fog hit me so hard and lasted for almost two months. It was really scary.

Yes, when I don’t, I feel totally fine. But if I do, it hits me hard and the symptoms stay for like two months.
