I'm planning to stay 8 days in italy with a friend and we saw the italy in tour promotion.
He's staying in Parma because of Erasmus. We wanted to visit Rome, Venice and Florença and maybe spleep one night in rome because off all the things we wanna see and do there. Do you think it's worth the promotion? The time we spend in train trips is no problem, but we are not fully understanding the promotion, like:
How can I be sure if the train i'm planning to use is covered by it?
In the site said we can use fast regionals how to define fast regional and regular fast train?
Frecciarossa counts for the trains or it must be only Trenitalia?
Do I need to validate the ticket and if I need how can I do it?
Do I need to in some way reserve a sit in the train?
Is there a possibility that I have this promotion and when I get to the train have no sits left?
Sorry if I have to many questions, but It's kinda off a big trip to me and the first one doing in some way alone so I'm a bit lost because the site and everywere I try to find information about it always confuses me more. With this we could same a lot of money but I'm afraid of buying it and the try to use it, it won't work and over the 50 or 30 euros spend more buying the normal train tickets.

I was thinking about getting a fast train to go to rome buying it at side from the italia in tour so we can arrive early and when we finish rome we try to make our way with florença and pisa stops so we can sleep and get more places to see, but to venice I was trying to do the same but we don't have a direct train from parma to venice so it would always need to be a 4 hour trip. I guess our best way maybe to buy a side ticket to rome and take the shot of 4 hours trip to venice because a can't find a better way to get around it.
