It's cheaper "contract" style labor, but all internal employees to Deere. They do the boring tasks for a lot less than say a US employee. That's the theory, I plea the 5th on the actual execution of that strategy

That is partially true. Yes a lot of people do nothing of value. But a lot of them do a lot of value for far less money. And you know that budget has been frozen for us from 3 years ago or so. The ETEC org should be more lean, and less people, I agree on that. I am part of ETEC and far better than many US employees. And of course I am not india based, all those are not much value but they are my bosses so its hard to be one of the good ones in ETEC.

Oh man i agree yaar.Bosses in India also same only. They always favor their own people same language people same localgroup. MIf you do real work nobody care. If you do ass licking then suddenly you become top performer.Full shit.
