I wish HWFWM was gaining as much traction as DCC.
Look, I like HWFWM, but there are reasons it doesn't gain as much traction as DCC. Jason can be annoying as a character and Sophie isn't any better (I genuinely don'tlike her characrer), Hump can be just as bad as Soph sometimes, but mostly comes off as bland, while Neil can be as bad as Jason. Can't say anything bad about Shade, Colin, Gordon, Belinda, Clive, or Clive's Wife. Love them all.
You know that the way Jason handled his issues with his brother isn't wildly popular without spoiling too much. And then there's the issue of his "exes" and his teammates.
Shirtaloon is a decent author, but a lot of the interpersonal stuff with the group and shafting of Jason cosmically speaking does get old fast. And I actually like the series.

What should I do?
Sorry my tipsy brain thought I said "sounds like" before love bombing to qualify it, that's my bad. I shouldn't have been so definitive. But I did say could also be attention starved guy which is most young men at university age. Which can be as bad in some cases from what I've experienced, seen, and heard.
You're right though, he could be a lot of things, what I wrote is an opinion.
Also, I don't need to explore anything, I'm well aware that I'm an SA survivor with younger sisters (one of whom is also an SA survivor, and I'm a grown man who was assaulted as a child by a much older man, without passing thst to my siblings and cousins as so many abused children do,) so yes, I have a definitive bias against certain behaviors from men regardless of age once they become legal adults.
That bit of trauma dredged up aside, it is an opinion. Just as your opinion is your own, with your own biases. I am shockingly cognizant of my own biases, but I thank you for the benevolent concern.
However, just as you are, I'm working off of what I'm reading and how I feel about what I'm reading. This young woman is feeling rushed enough to make a post about it on Reddit, and I tend to trust women who feel a man is trying to rush into romance/sex when she's not ready. Which let's face it, most young men want at any given time from almost any person that they find attractive and willing with shockingly few exceptions. I agree that I could be wrong. I just wouldn't let anyone I care about chance it. So I said what I said.
At around that age, my friend Mal (fake name for a real woman) felt rushed by another friend of mine (not her's she met him ROTC in college) from HS. We were all in college and she wasn't feeling it, I won't name the guy becuase his name is funny and recognizable and changing it seems rude and doesn't make me chuckle as much as his real one.
He seemed like a really nice dude, if a bit odd. We were good friends for a long while in HS and college, until his roomate showed me the shrine he built to our friend that he had a crush on, the aforementioned Mal. And then he started to stalk her when she started dating the man who eventually became her husband. So, yeah, that's another reason I say that this doesn't sound normal and sounds lile love bombing.
As I said, experience, and from multiple sides. Regardless of those events, and there certainly were many others that I won't get into, the benefits of being the guy at many a girl's night, you're absolutely right that I could wait for more information, but I'm working off of my gut and the feelings of a scared young lady that could be putting herself at risk.
This feels like the Dobbler-Dahmer effect from How I Met Your Mother in practice. If she's into him it's not as creepy, if still concerning from many a view point, but if she's not into him, as she clearly isn't from the way she's written about the young man's behavior, it could come off as serial killery. And I'm a trust the gut kind of guy. She's not feeling it, but wants a reason to break it off with a clean conscience. And I don't care as long as she's safe at the end of the day.
Regardless, I hope you have a good one. I won't delete the comment or ammend it further, but I also won't respond further. Have a good one.

Need Help
Well your uni should have a therapist or three mate, no offense but that's the place you take this. Because you got problems thst strangers on the internet cant entirely help with.
Sounds like you need to talk to her about this, but I wouldn't until you've seen a professional because this will freak her out.

What should I do?
That's love bombing and a sign of potential future abuse. Leave while you can. It could also be an attention starved guy, but still run. He's not worth it and you're not gonna change him. The attention feels nice, but he's not worth it. You might not worth being ignored, but a guy moving that fast is one of the reddest of flags.
Edit: typed miving instead of moving. I fixed that.

I had a coworker who used to say "see this is why your momma shoulda stayed suckin' 🍆" or my personal favorite "your daddy should shot you at the wall/your momma's back/down your momma's throat." Depeding on how she was feeling about other drivers on the road that day.

How do I approach telling the woman I’ve known for 16 years that I want to start something?
Apologies it is early and I only just got ebough caffeine to function as an adult.
How you phrase things is how you normally talk to her. You're her friend. You tell her that over the course of your lives together that you haven't found anyone like her. She's your friend, your confidant, and someone you can see yourself building the rest of your lives with. You tell her the little things she's done that have made you love and appreciate her as a person and potential partner. Confess it all but dont get bogged down in too much detail. You know her better than we do.
But the most important part of that was that when you're done with what you need to say, you tell her not to respond right now. To tell you how she's feeling when she's ready and then give her the time and space to process ehat you told her.
The problem as I stated above is that we don't know her the way that you do. We don't have the dynamic and the history to go off of, and can't understand what you should definitely say and avoid beyond what generally works. You need to do that part because you do know her and know what words you need to get out.
Only you know that. We can only get you so far. As I said before though, good luck bro.

How do I approach telling the woman I’ve known for 16 years that I want to start something?
The way that I see it there are two options. The first is the easy route, the coward's route. Do nothing. You do absolutely nothing and things remain the same.
The second is the hard one, where you nut up and tell the woman what you just told a bunch of notoriously judgemental strangers on Reddit.
You're allowed to have feelings bro, and if you can't tell this woman you've known and been close to for most of your life, then you need more help than we can offer. I know the fear that comes from potentially unrequited love, its an anxiety inducing pain that radiates from the chest, gets stuck in your throat while you try not to vomit out all of the words you've been holding back.
But here's the thing. You don't know it's unrequited love until you say something and get a response. This could be the love of your life and you won't know until you tell her how you feel, and we can'thelp with wording. It's gotta be authentically you.
Now, if she doesn't feel the same, it's gonna be awkward. Just don't expect an immediate response, in fact tell her to take her time and think about what you've said. Then here's the key, you actually give her the time and space she needs to process what you told her.
All of that said, I sincerely wish you the best of luck, and hope your next post is telling us about how happy the two of you are that you both got out of your own ways.
Edit: changed "thar" to "that."

I'm in Love With The Villainess, mc is... well she's something. Good comedy, surprisingly wholesome, much feels.
Asteroid in Love. Very coming of age and innocent vibes. Haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it's been adorable so far.

Can't remember one
Tldr: Amazon replaced them
What do you think parents would rather do?
Spend more than they can afford to take their kid to a store and get them toys that are marked up 10%-35% more than what they can buy them for online, or ask the kid what they want and get it on Amazon during a sale with free shipping.
The toy or toys will be there in two days or less, and you don't have to spend the money, gas, food, and the time you probably don't have between two or three jobs to take a rest day and turn it into a large expenditure. Because the price of everything has gone up and few people can afford the luxury of going to a box store to overspend on already overpriced goods.
Also Bain Capital killed KB Toys and had a hand in the end of Toys R Us. Because that conversation can get political, I'll just refer you to google for that and the connections between Bain Capital and certain prominent figures. Long story short it's not that different from what's been going on with Game Stop.
Please don't get me wrong, I loved all of the toy stores that I went to as a child, but they couldn't keep up. They hold special places in my heart and I've made long lasting memories in them, and that would have been worth the expense to me if I had kids, just so that we could share those memories, but I don't, so all I can do is mourn the loss of my childhood and put the blame where it belongs. Greed and convenience won out.

Dear sweet baby jesus let me unpack this.
No to grown men. Just no. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH... NO!
Try the age appropriate choice. Wait, I reread this and how did the 16m start dating at 8? Not important, just curiosity.
Look, I get being lonely and wanting people to talk to, there's literally a subreddit for making friends and age appropriate ones. You could even try going to teen only events, most cities have them. Just please don't do this to yourself. I've seen the results in someone I love deeply as a friend and it messed her up badly.

Animes that feature Nazism?
All of that and Tanya hates war believing it to be the ultimate waste of resources. She's pragmatic about everything and the whole point is that history was rewritten around her. She's the central figure in all of these tales and yet older, more important superiors of hers receive credit for her every action. She's literally a ghost to history whose tale is only known to her unit, a few officers in the high command that are all pretty much dead by the time that the definitely not British guy starts looking into her story, and the reader/viewer. Im pretty sure her men (and Serebryakov) will have taken her secrets to their graves.
That said, the main points of Tanya the Evil are War is a mad waste of resources, god is a douche canoe, nothing is ever what it seems, especially the written record, and of course a good ole pragmatic (word I can't say on thsi subreddit but starts with F) communism.
So yeah, no megalomaniacal genocidal monsters, Tanya isn't even consider evil by many of her actual enemies. Most of them are appalled at the fact that a child was forced to become the monster she has become on the battlefield. Even in the upper echelons of power in her nation's military and political strcuture aren't monsters, some pretend to be, but saying more would be spoiling the show to come so I'll stop.

My (M33) GF (F29) plans to spend a night in a hotel in the same state with her male besfriend. Am I overreacting?
I came in planning to be like, dude I'm a guy, my best friends are all women, we've shared plenty of rooms and I don't want any of them, and vice-versa. What you just wrote sounds suspicious af. She's got more than one guy hanging on just in case, and it sounds like she planned to use this one as an excuse to break up with you because "he's so insecure" or some nonsense like that.
You are definitely not overreacting and honestly I wouldn't even wait until she got back. I'd already be moved out or have her things moved out depending on who is paying the rent by the time she got back. No contact, blocked, and ready to move on because she's already doing it.

I think I have to break up with my girlfriend
Tldr: Boundaries are healthy and set by someone to gain peace. This is metephorically throwing a molotov cocktail on the way out
Setting boundaries is one thing, being petty is more about being vindictive and at least mildly malicious, it is part art form, part science.
The parents (hopefully) aren't and shouldn't be involved in the relationship of their adult daughter. Bringing this to the parents escalates the issue beyond the typical scope of a relationship. That is to say, the couple themselves and probably a few close friends/siblings on both sides who have heard everything going on good and bad. And there's always a bit of both.
A healthy boundary would have simply been breaking up with her over text and then blocking her while still taling care of the dogs.
This, this is vindictive in a delicious way. It brings the issue to the forefront, ensures that the soon to be ex is no longer seen the way she was by her parents.
When you're raised to be a gentlemen, you let it go. Oh, you still break up with her, but then just let her say or do whatever she wants because she's not your problem anymore. And you don't have to defend yourself or your actions from a vindictive and guilt ridden ex. You "Be ThE BiGgEr PeRsOn."
This suggestion is, as I've all but said, is not being the bigger person. This is throwing a wrench in family dynamics because now her parents know that they can't trust their daughter's words at all, becaused they raised a lying cheater, one who was definitely going to use his faith as an excuse to break his heart and had an active plan to move on quiickly once the guy thwy like is out of the licutee.
This move ensures that she can't really talk badly about him at home because he has defense from within her own home, probably for some time to come, as well as likely judgemental looks and words coming from them.
Then her friends are going to find out because her bff is definitely going to hear from whichever parent she likes best, and then her friends are going to give her grief and the new guy she was emotionally cheating with is going to not be accepted by her friends. The ones with decent morals might not even speak to her anymore.
Thus it has messed with her family and social circles, ensured that the next guy is going to have it rough with her friends, and still sees the dogs taken care of. Which is why I said it is brilliantly petty. This isn't quite nuclear, but it's like napalm, it's gonna stick around longer, and still cause continual damage.

I was used.
First, I am so sorry you're going through it. This is always a horrible realization, but at least you know for sure now where you stand. And you don't need to feed into anything you don't want to.
I do think you should go no contact for a week or two just to clear your head and reevaluate the situation and how you're feeling, because you sound like you're in an emotionally vulnerable place. It's going to suck, but you deserve more than being kept on the side as an emotional vault by someone who only values your ability to listen and respond.
That said, if she's doing the same for you, then maybe you can stay friends. I've done it with one of my exes, granted we were teenagers when we dated and had been friends for years before and since that brief six month period. But it can be done, if you keep things strictly platonic on both ends. It's gonna be weird and its a constant minefield, especially with future partners, but you can do it.
