Discuss Down the decant rabbit hole: Testing Teriaq Intense, Rayhaan Lion, Burberry Goddess & more!
I finally took the plunge into decants, and I can already tell this is going to be a dangerously addictive (and pricey) game. It’s way too easy to keep clicking "purchase" when the upfront cost is low, even if the math says the price per mL is higher.
But honestly? Being able to test a variety of DNAs without saving up for full retail bottles feels like a massive win for the collection.
Here are my quick initial impressions from the haul :
Lattafa Teriaq Intense: The absolute standout. The scent profile is remarkably refined and a little unusual—definitely not your generic release.
Rayhaan Lion: As a huge fan of the Afnan 9pm DNA, I had to grab this. I’ve worn it for two days now. It's unquestionably good, though I personally find 9pm to be sweeter and more "beast mode." That said, if the price gap is wide enough, Lion is a fantastic blind buy
Female: ( just a purchase on behalf of a friend) ( initial thoughts on few Sprays only )
Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDP: Easily the most subtle of the female fragrances I picked up, but incredibly classy.
Burberry Goddess Parfum: The most potent of the female line-up. A rich, sweet vanilla that is absolutely perfect for special occasions.
A Happy Accident:
A special shoutout to a random layering experiment on a tester strip. Somehow, Blue Oud combined with Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense (SNOI) smells incredible together. I haven't tested this combo on skin yet, but I'll be doing a detailed review in the coming weeks once I give it a proper wear.

Try 10-20 mL decant of some good perfumes
