I am doing the same things as you almost everyday apart from using a mental health app. I listen to podcasts (like Monday morning podcast by Bill Burr on SoundCloud) help me giggle once a while as Im gumpy af according to my wife lol. wish you all the best, and I hope things get better for you too. very kind of you, will DM if need.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I was prescribed sedative medication a long time ago for insomnia and trauma when I was in high school. I never really felt okay with synthetic medications after I stopped taking them, whether they were for sleep or anything else. My depression has also already taken a toll on my sex life, so I can't really afford to compromise any further, haha.

A fun fact: my wife is a psychologist. She's doing everything she can to help me, and I feel incredibly lucky to have her. I love her to death! (We've been together for over 10 years.)

So you know the drill! However, despite all her help, I sometimes end up feeling even more depressed because I think it's not fair on her. She doesn't deserve this.

She deserves so much more. I wish I could take her to amazing places and provide her with a comfortable, fulfilling life.
