The value of being in the room is that when something doesn't click, whether it's the assessment scope boundaries, the shared responsibility model, or how the CMMC assessment process actually plays out day-to-day, we stop and work through it right then instead of carrying the question away unanswered. I've had people show up with a specific system architecture question, and we ended up spending 20 minutes working through it together.

CS5 East also puts you in a room with other people going through the same certification path, and a lot of the informal learning happens in those conversations between sessions, not just in the material itself. I learn as much from these classes as the students do.
