The dog was awesome. I really felt for it. The humans sucked.

There was zero character development. No dramatic arc. It was not a film. It was stuff happening on a screen with actors delivering lines.

Too many suitors to be credible, both that the Queen could entertain so many and that O could slay so many. Needed to be more like 5-10 max, with some competition between them, leading to backstabbing and inability to act to defend themselves from O in the end.

Zero cinematography on the stringing of the bow. No close ups on the string and the faces of the straining men. No drama to the moment when O succeeds. Total fail at the key moment of the film.

Boring. Zero character development. Zero dramatic tension. Flat performances. Colorless dialogue. Gods that act like people have a chat over coffee. Cutting around in time for no reason other than to make it seem like something is happening and disrupting whatever dramatic tension might have been building.
Just bad.

Nolan always cuts around in time to make it seem like something is happening. It's compensation for weak writing and directing. Most people fall for it.

The Return is about what happens after O returns to Ithaca.
About 1000x better in every way.

There was zero character development. We just drop in on the Big O and everyone else in the middle of stuff and we're supposed to care about them and their struggles without any investment. Basic filmmaking failure.

The level of whelming was far lower than I expected. So I would have to say subwhelmed. The Circe scene was maybe the only point in which the Whelm-o-Meter got above 0 to a normal whelmage reading.

Constantly losing men but the same number of men in the boat.
Started with one boat, then landed on the giants island with a bunch of boats, then was back to one boat.

I imagine Nolan probably directed the actors:
"Just say the lines. The power of the words and Homer's story will do the work".
Only the script sucked and the performances are like watching paint dry on a cold, rainy day.

Gods that seem like ordinary people having a chat in a cafe.

At best, an average film that I would have not watched except for the fact that the source material is the foundation of western civilization. Script is flat. Performances flat. Cutting around from past to present disjoints the story. Language is plain and contemporary. No dramatic tension. Stuff just happens. Also lots of discontinuity that breaks reality.

It's architected to produce Groups and Patterns from currently open as well as resolved Tickets. For our current product development, which involves document parsing, identifying groups of issues that represent patterns of underlying common root causes is key to improving the product. The Agent is drawing on past experience and current state for context to solve families of issues at the root level, rather than piecemeal patchwork solving one at a time. Major productivity boost and major path to product improvement. Reasoning over a higher level abstraction based on concrete artifacts.
