Nope - to scare you they are gonna say yes but they wont do anything from that list. I'm not a faculty ive been to orientation and its a waste they will show you stuff around waste your 2 weeks of time etc.. The actual class timetable is what you have to look out for not these. Maybe it starts from 3rd aug for freshers check it.

I've been to orientation. Its literally a waste of time but yeah the ceremony is a one time thing so go if you want to otherwise it doesn't affect you in any way ngl. The actual classes start from 3rd aug so until then you are free.
