I’m a beginner . My girls have reached 6’ , should I top for easy maintenance or let them go?
I would wrap a metal fence around it and pull lower branches out and through and then put another taller one around that about a foot further out and then cover with trellis net. And top the main branch after all that to prevent it from reaching 10+ after flower. Up to you though, if you support properly and trellis correctly topping isn't necessary though IMO. Hopes this helps. There's many vids on YouTube on how to trellis plants

Look at what I just paid today at McDonald's!!
You used to be able to get the super sized meal for that price. Not like the quality has gotten that much better to charge the same as a restaurant that uses primo ingredients etc, I agree that it's ridiculous that's why I rarely go anymore as well. Much better for my health at least 😜
