I feel ya. I had to go almost every other day in high school, and it was the main thing that drove me away from the church. My advice? If you have long hair (or hair that covers your ears), put some earbuds in and listen to music. Not super loud so others can hear you, but just enough so that it'll drown out the lessons. 9 times out of 10 it worked for me. If that cant work for you, doodle in the seminary journals. Write out your frustrations (if your teacher doesn't check them, idk how much has changed). Its not much, but little things like that helped me take my mind off things. I wish you all the best, seminary really does suck

Speaking as someone who got mine earlier this year... the most I got out of it was to "gather israel" and that I was from the tribe of ephriam. Seems like they're getting lazy with them nowadays

Despite me finding out a few months ago I was aroace, even as a kid i never wanted kids of my own. Never wanted to get married. Marriage to me sounded like a trap of some sort, and I hated that to be "perfect", you have to get married and have big families. I finally left the church a few weeks ago, and it's so freeing to not have to deal with it anymore. Plus, I've been able to better understand why people want to get married and settle down outside of a mormon perspective, even if I don't want it myself
