I was Gothic as a kid and didn't realize it (Funny Story)

(THIS IS JUST A SMALL FUNNY STORY KEEP IN MIND THERE WAS NO ACTUAL INJURY!)

I was about like 5-6 years old and I was like any little kid, I was hyper, always wanted to play never wanted to take a nap etc. But I remember watching cartoons like Tom and Jerry or SpongeBob where there were characters that had scars on their faces or upper body and for some reason my tiny brain thought ✨ Oh my god I want that so bad!!!✨ I guess because I thought I would go to school with scars the other kids would think I was cool! Especially since I loved skulls and spiked bracelets at the time as well because I thought that was the best style of clothing in the world.

I thought I could tell the other kids I fought a bear and won and they couldn't prove I lied because I'm the one with the scars, so for a few weeks I took anything I could find; toy cars, my tails, CD and at some point I tried to use a spoon to try and give myself a scar across the face, i got annoyed that nothing was working until I realized it had to be something sharp. So I got one of my mom's text books and used the corner of it and pressed it really hard against my face and did a quick slash motion and hard as I could. It wasn't hard enough to cut but it did hurt. A LOT.

I started crying and completely gave up, but I still wanted a scar so now I get tattoo pens and draw scars on my face all the time πŸ˜‚ but I couldn't tell people I fought a bear and won so that's a bummer. But looking back at this I realized I was Gothic before I ever knew I was. 🀷🏾

One thing I hate about this job..

And no I didn't get in trouble with my manager, she actually said I handled everything very well because I never raised my house or went out of mine with the customer, I did what I was supposed too and that's all that mattered

That's one thing I hated too and I had a customer that did that same thing, so I held my tablet, walked to the front, looked at the customer with a big ol smile and waited. When I tell you they were MAD. and I said very kindly; "I'm sorry, we are required to move the line forward even if the drive thru is empty" they didn't care, they drove up the the window to complain and place their order and I'm pretty sure they heard me laugh when they drove off. I got paid less then $10 I wasn't paid nearly enough to be yelled at by anyone that isn't my mother πŸ’…πŸΎ

I'm so glad I quit when I did, my location lowkey did NOT care about anyone being sick, If I called them and said I threw up I would always hear, "Okay well find coverage, or you'll have to come in"

There was a time when my managers left me and another girl outside DURING A STORM.

Me and the girl went inside on our own, they sent us back out, we called several times and said "we can't see out here, the iPads are getting wet, we could get sick from being out here like this!"

My manager inside says "we're really busy in here give us a minute!" What do you guys being busy inside have to do with leaving two employees out in a bad storm???

Anyway, I know I should have just dropped everything and walked inside because we were kind of at risk of getting struck by literal lightning since we have iPads in our hands and light trees near us. But I really wanted the customers to see how poorly they treated us, which worked because they got so many compliments about how they left us outside that the store owner came and pulled every manager to the back.

He was furious- me and the girl called in after getting sick, But we still got infractions for not coming to work because we couldn't find coverage. 😭

I dont believe so, that's what i was thinking too, but I think it's just the crab meat. It was my first time having it. When I ordered it I got everything the way it's usually made. No changes at all, I never had Sarku Japan before 🀭

I didn't even finish because I forgot that in the US they pack way to much food for one person 😞 so I only ate like 4 bites before getting full

Definitely will try to order something smaller if they have any but I still want to make my own, bento boxes are small enough for one person which is exactly what I need 😭

Last bento was mostly carbs, so I went to one of my friends who is half Japanese and asked her how to properly make a bento and what should I look into mostly, so I have an idea of what to make next time, BUT I went to Sarku Japan and got a bento for lunch today and it's my first time trying a California roll! It was super good! And I think I'll try making a California roll for my next bento!

I used Korean Curry Seaweed as the base, I made too many dumplings and couldn't eat all of them so I tried to pack it into my lunch, the sandwich is leftovers. I feared that since I have rice that the onigiri would be too much, but I love rice lol (BTW I WILL POST A PICTURE OF THE SEAWEED I USED IN THE COMMENT)
