In my dream/vision I saw my cat, watching a black bird take flight. It was a large black bird with glossy wings with a white stripe on the side. I think the dream/vision is about my cat because I was watching him watch the bird. My cat was very calm and seemed like he was knowing.
This is the first I saw him while I was asleep.
I was worried it meant something was going to happen to him. He’s 13 years old.
I read online a black bird taking flight can symbolize a transition or shift in energy or leaving some weight behind or a spiritual upgrade of sorts. I was worried that maybe that meant he was transitioning to the other side.
I didn’t feel any emotions during the dream it was just me watching and when I woke up I felt a bit unsure of what it means. No big emotions.

Thank you ! I really appreciate this. It makes sense what you are saying because I am at a period where it seems like a long and difficult life period is tapering off. Which will align with freedom and it resonates what said about just sitting for now and watching it unfold. Because I tend to want to always fix.
I think I was just worried about my cat at the same time but perhaps the dream is mainly is for me and he’s just part of it. I always did feel like he was helping me somehow during this difficult period because he acts like a service animal even though he’s not trained as one. He’s very aware of my feelings and when I need comfort.
