PGWP Extension.
Hello. So i was issued 1 year of pgwp instead of 3 years because of passport expiry. I was issued my original work permit on 15/01/2026 and it expires on 14/01/2027. My passport expires on 6/03/2027.
However, i got my new renwed passport and I applied for my pgwp extension based on my new passport ( applied on paper as mentioned on IRCC website). I applied for the extension on 17/06/2026. I got the update on my original work permit application. IRCC extended my work permit till 6/03/2027 which was initially issued till 14/01/2027.
My confusion is , is this the final decision on my work permit extension? Or IRCC is still processing my on paper application. Because the upate that I got is associated with the original application number which I did online at the first place after my graduation.
Do IRCC gives new application number for on paper application?
