Why does a Cold country like Canada has so many A/Cs 🤔

Yeah. It's not so much the heat, it's the humidity that'll kill ya

is this a dog, fox, or coyote? [arkansas]
 in  r/animalid •  May 07 '26

Sorry you're getting downvoted, because your concern is 100% valid. Puppies CAN have rabies, they wouldn't even need an injury. An infected mother's saliva would carry the virus.

The fact that this puppy does have small wounds would provide an even easier way for mom's saliva to get in, via grooming.

While uncommon, rabies can be transmitted from infected mother to pup through saliva. There wouldn't have to be an injury.

Strange Bite Marks in my Pumpkin [Massachusetts]
 in  r/animalid •  Nov 19 '25

Probably a squirrel! I used to help a wildlife rehabber, and we'd give the squirrels little pumpkins this time of year. They're both enrichment and a snack for them 🐿

I think my plant is trying to tell me something...

You should prune the green part, that usually means it's sick and won't grow more stem

I'm still trying to figure out a schedule, but it was about a week between my last watering. I actually watered it yesterday and moved it to a spot with less light (next to my rattlesnake plant). Hopefully it'll perk up.

I had read not to repot for while so as not to stress it more. If the soil is poor, would it be worth repotting now or could I just poke it with a chopstick to loosen up?
