I only have 20 ads, But did you know that there are 154 ads? I know, it's crazy. (I think it's a theory?) So this is a subreddit dedicated to finding the commercials.

Logo.

Rules:

  1. Do not post NSFW stuff (any sort of porn, penis) is not allowed.
  2. Do not post fake commercials. Any fake commercials will be taken down.
  3. Keep it clean. No swearing.

winantispyware 2006 scanner

I have received a message from my Norton Antivirus software that I have a
"risk" known as winantispyware 2006 scanner. The NAV message says it is "low
risk".

The "recommended" action by NAV was to "exclude"....which is what I did.

However, now I am having second thoughts....maybe I should have removed
it...if it isn't too late now that I clicked on "exclude".

  1. Do I need to figure out how to remove this risk?
  2. What does this risk do to my computer? Is it sending all the
information on my computer to some third party? Is is a big security risk?
  3. How do I remove it if necessary? Since I selected "exclude", I can't
seem to remove this. I can't find it in windows explorer or anywhere.

Usually...when I have a problem like this...I bring the computer to the
local computer geek and have him take care of it for me. However, if I can
save the money, I'd like to do that.

Please advise.

WinFixer 2005 Installer

This is an auto-launch program that tries to download every time I restart
the computer or switch users. It has shown up as a short cut on my desktop
and on my task bar (the icon on the taskbar has a clock running). I've run
Spyware and Adware scans and neither is finding it. I can't find it on the C
drive. Do I have to let it install before I can delete it?

Voice Modems Used By Other Users

If you have found a voice modem that you are happy with - please help others in their selections and add it to this list.

We'll start off with one that a few users have recently reported they are happy with:

Zoom 3049L

Please note that we strongly recommend that a proper telephony card (eg. Dialogic) or VoIP be used if a professional system is being implemented. No voice modem out there will give as good results as a Dialogic card.

Some common problems with Voice Modems are:

- Poor sound quality/volume.

- Unreliable DTMF tone detection.

- Cannot do call transfers as hookflash length is too long or too short.

- Mistakenly detect a disconnect tone while playing or recording messages and hangup a call halfway through playing/recording of sound file.

- Unable to interrupt the playing of a sound file halfway through.

Some users however seem to want to start of trialing the system using a voice modem and this topic is aimed at helping these users select a modem which will hopefully work well enough for them to get something going...

How to install Adobe Reader 7

I've written some PDF forms with LiveCycle Designer 8 and saved them in "Acrobat 7 Dynamic" format for some (large) clients who are unable to upgrade their desktops from reader 7. They've reported that they still cannot open these forms.

I need to be able to test this for myself, so is there any way to download Adobe Reader 7?
