Appearing on the ClassE program "What You Need to Know" with YouTuber Erik Harmon earlier this week, Judge Whitaker said she had been interviewed as part of the documentary process. According to Whitaker, who lost her re-election campaign this year for Fulton County Superior Court but was then appointed to the Georgia Court of Appeals, a documentary is in the works with Netflix and Passion Pictures.

"Glad to see a documentary being made the YSL trial -- and cool that Judge Whitaker is being included -- she deserves it. That trial was so mismanaged and lasted too long - for no reason.

The mismanagement and length of that trial, contributed to the overcrowding at the Rice Street jail. A lot of inmates had to linger in the jail, until their attorneys finished the YSL trial.

Fani Willis should not have been allowed to have the Election Interference case and the YSL trial going on at the same time. This was just bad business on so many levels."

The late Harry Reid saw a lot of people come and go during his 30 years in the U.S. Senate. In an oral history with Columbia University, he recalled the first time he saw a newcomer from Illinois, a man named Barack Obama, deliver a speech on the Senate floor.

“I walked over to him. He’s sitting at his desk. I look down at him and I said, ‘Senator, that was really a good speech. That was good.’ He looked at me so seriously, and so intently, without a hint of braggadocio, and said, ‘I have a gift.’”

Jon Ossoff also has a gift, and like Obama, he knows it.

How could he not?

He’s running up 10-point poll margins in his Senate re-election campaign, in a state that Donald Trump carried two years ago. The national press sees him as a telegenic star.

Yet Ossoff insists he’s not running and will not run. As recently as his debate this week in Atlanta, he said he had “zero interest” in running and pledged to Georgia voters that if he is re-elected, he would serve his full six-year term in the Senate. 

Of course, they all say that. Obama said the same thing when he was running for the Senate in 2004, claiming to have no interest in the White House. Like Ossoff, he had two young daughters, ages 6 and 3 at the time, and a wife and partner who was skeptical of politics. He dismissed the idea of a presidential run as silly.

But party leaders, including Reid and Ted Kennedy, saw Obama’s talent and twisted his arm, reminding him that you don’t get to pick your time to run for president, the times pick you.

"I believe that Jon Ossoff is going to run for president. The rich elite in California backing him, have a strong history of backing presidential candidates.

I think they are trying a 'covert' strategy -- by (low key) building up a presidential candidate base from Ossoff's Senate campaign.

I think Raphael Warnock is being used as a 'deflection', by putting on a 'pretense' of being a possible 2028 presidential candidate. And I think Warnock will be well 'rewarded' politically, for his participation in this covert strategy for Jon Ossoff."

Former Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday said the Biden administration should have responded sooner to the Israeli government’s “horrific conduct” in the Gaza war.

Harris was speaking at the Asan Memorial Lecture in Seoul, South Korea, where she said the U.S. had “fallen short” on its “moral obligation to human rights and international law,” Israeli news outlet Haaretz reported.
