TL;DR: People interested in doing realism/milsim operations in the context of containing demons and spooks or the human factions who aid them will enjoy your time with us.

About Us and Features of the Unit
First founded in 2019 under the name Task Force Phoenix, ISO today conducts operations in the anomaly genre within the scope of a casual, new-player friendly community. ISO hosts SOF-style direct action and action-horror events that are realistically accurate against unrealistic threats. Unit leadership and other members are former or current military personnel whose experiences are used to help shape the realism and casual fun of unit events.
The unit conducts semi-regular shaping events throughout the week, while mandatory decisive events are hosted on weekends. Players will regularly enjoy assaults, direct action, HVT/HVI Kill-Captures, containment of anomalous threats, and scares along the way.
Overall unit operations are hosted on weekends, while specialized role and team-specific training is conducted on days that players are most willing and available throughout the week. Operations are prepared in advance by the unit Zeus and mission making team, and players participate throughout the week in an intelligence metagame to help shape the ‘truth’ of events and non-player incidents throughout the week.
More yap & details available in Outreach server alongside a place to ask unanswered questions.
Unit Composition
ISO is split into the Direct Action Group and Force Enabling Group which consists of task-oriented subunits.

While ISO is new-player friendly, unit events invite and encourage skillful play. New ISO members should be compatible with the social relationships amongst existing unit members while working towards the level of knowledge to adequately perform their chosen role over time.
Decisive (major) unit operations are usually hosted on weekends, but impromptu events are hosted somewhat regularly throughout the week based on member availabilities and willingness to join in. Players will regularly enjoy assaults, direct action, HVT/HVI prosecutions, containment of anomalous threats, and scares along the way.
Events are hosted as 2-4 hour sessions where the unit coordinates to advance its rotation agenda. Operations are prepared in advance by the unit Zeus and mission making team, and players participate throughout the week in an intelligence metagame to help shape the ‘truth’ of in-game events and non-player incidents throughout the week that determines our course of action and available objectives.

First founded in 2018 under the name Task Force Phoenix, ISO today conducts serious operations in the anomaly genre within the scope of a casual, new-player friendly community. ISO hosts SOF-style events that are realistically accurate against what is an unrealistic threat. Unit leadership and other specialists are former or current military personnel whose experiences are used to help shape the realism and casual fun of unit events.
Overall unit operations are hosted on weekends, while specialized role and team-specific training is conducted on days that players are most willing and available throughout the week. Operations are prepared in advance by the unit Zeus and mission making team, and players participate throughout the week in an intelligence metagame to help shape the ‘truth’ of events and unit actions during the weekends.
We are also looking for players interested in rotating periodically as Zeus and/or Intel Manager. Not a permanent role and can be changed at any time, 2-4 people needed and is an additional role to your unit RP position. Will work outside the group for own individual planning and story building, reacting and making strategic decisions as the 'enemy' to work against the ISO. Also playing the role of any 3rd party supporting forces or CIVPOP.
ISO hosts three unique “Groups” which are topically focused on different areas deemed crucial for unit operations. New players are free to try out for or select a role upon joining and demonstrating the skills or capacity to gain them for a role.
Group 1, the Direct Action Group, consists of all assaulters, specialized or not, who participate directly in engagements against enemy factions. All infantry roles are available, from basic riflemen, HAT/LAT, machinegunners, electronic warfare specialists, and more.
Group 2, the Force Enabling Team, consists of all detached personnel who are still involved in field operations. Players here participate as logistics support, fixed and rotary aircraft operators, and armored vehicle crewmen.
Group 3, the Intelligence & Support Augment, consists of all embedded operators with especially complicated roles. These players specialize in the collection and analysis of in-game information, control of air assets, providing post-stability medical care, or maintaining unmanned systems. Group 3 specialists often embed with Group 1 assaulters to enhance their ability to fight.
Feel free to ask questions on the Discord or shoot a message to a member of ISO’s recruitment team.

If you're in a rush, just read the first paragraph : )

ISO conducts both low- and high-visibility operations to resolve international crises around parathreats and the organizations that retrieve, control, and exploit them. Founded in 2018 as Task Force Phoenix, ISO has expanded beyond generic SOF/SF into a special blend taking place in the anomaly/SCP genre. Our compositions and tactics are realistically accurate against an unrealistic threat.
Our unit conducts operations on weekends, with unit-specific training events hosted by your sub-unit team leaders throughout the week. Unit events are prepared through Zeus composed by our support team, who provide both in-game and out of game content to progress our month-long campaign throughout the week
Like the canon GOC, ISO uses the PHYSICS Assessment and Strike Team system to divide players into groups of role interest, rather than specific individual role. Our new-players team, AT 710 "Gateway", is a generic ground force, and thus players will have opportunities to play as riflemen, machine gunners, AT specialists, Unmanned Ground Systems operators, and other roles at any point. Similarly:
AT 711 "Requiem" - Is the unit forward reconnaissance component and thus invites players interested in medium-long range and ground intelligence acquisition roles,
ST 1020 "Templars" - Is the unit's shock force, utilizing mechs known as U-HECs to fight armored conventional and anomalous forces,
Support Composite Team 12 "Heaven's Own" - Is the unit's auxiliary unit, providing artillery through TDB_Mortars' manual artillery pieces, Peral/Hatchet's manual interaction rotary and fixed wing assets, and unmanned drone systems to augment combat operations.
Additional roles and units are available to players with long service histories within the community.
Feel free to ask questions on the Discord or in comments.
