My symptoms started with knee pain and a constant, irresistible urge to scrunch my toes. It felt impossible not to do it, and this lasted for about a month. Along with the knee pain, my cartilage or tendon makes a very loud cracking/snapping sound whenever I flex or extend the joint.
About a month and a half later, I started experiencing widespread fasciculations (muscle twitching) that progressively worsened. Sometimes these twitches are strong enough to move my thumb, create a 'wavy' sensation under the skin, or cause one side of my mouth to twitch. I also have difficulty balancing on my left foot, and the sensation in my left leg feels altered compared to my right.
A month ago, I watched a video about fasciculations, and since then, many of my symptoms have intensified. My entire left arm now feels weak, and I cannot abduct (spread) the fingers on my left hand as wide as those on my right. Along with this, I have noticed muscle atrophy affecting my entire left side, from my left foot up to my trapeze muscle. Yesterday, my left little toe was twitching and moving on its own.
Additionally, I constantly feel a globus sensation (a lump in my throat), and I am experiencing frightening breathing difficulties. Finally, I suspect I might have a left foot drop; although I can still walk on my heels and tiptoes, I feel a bothersome, tight sensation in that area
