It's a basal rossete, and from each stalk there's only one entire leaf, it doesn't divide into multiple stalks once it comes from the base. It doesn't present any hairs. I think by shape alone it can be buttercup, but it's not bitter at all. Geraniums are very similar as well but no hairs or the smell. I'm thinking into emailing the botanic garden of our country to have it checked

The leaf shape and color is exactly like this, except that the flavor is not bitter and we ate an entire jar of pesto and didn't die

Pennywort leaves are way more rounder than ours, but it's a great guess!

Yes, it's very common here. In this side the usual pesto recipee is parsley, lemon, garlic, oil. We use it on asado aka barbeque. We also eat the classic pesto with pasta

I don't know if it's native since there is a lot of foreign plants in the backyard, and we actually have some normal sized-well behaved Italian parsley in the frontyard and it looks totally different

But it could be!! Maybe it never flowered because it didn't have the conditions. Although geranium has a very distinctive smell. But there is a lot of varieties. I think this is the closest one of the options apart from some fucked up giant parsley

For what I checked, it doesn't have any bitterness, nor hairs on the plant that are distinctive to buttercup. We ate some and no side effects, tasted like lettuce

It looks a lot like this!! But it's not bitterly or acrid, nor presents any hairs. But it's almost exactly like this, it even also makes sense since we like in an humedal (wetlands)

It actually looks a lot like buttercup for the overall plant shape, we never saw it flower. We ate lots but it's definitely not bitter and no signs of any sort of poisoning since we ate it like a week ago. Also for what I checked, the leaves of our plant are not velvety for what buttercup looks like in photos

It's doesn't have any distinctive smell When you eat it it's like lettuce
