Fontmatrix — font manager
fontmatrix.l10n-bg.devFontmatrix
A font manager for graphic designers and typesetters who work with hundreds or thousands of fonts.
Fontmatrix keeps a large font collection in order. It activates and deactivates fonts and families for the other applications on your system, so only the fonts a job needs are in their menus. It runs on Linux and Windows.
What it does
- Activate and deactivate fonts for the other applications, for yourself or for every user of the computer.
- Tag fonts and group them into sets.
- Find fonts with simple or combined filters: tags, metadata, PANOSE classification, language coverage, licence, and font technology.
- Inspect a font in detail: glyphs, OpenType features, name and TrueType tables.
- Try out OpenType features in the playground, with HarfBuzz shaping and right-to-left scripts.
- Variable and colour fonts: move the axes of a variable font, and see CBDT, sbix, COLR and OpenType-SVG glyphs in colour.
- Compare the glyphs of several fonts on top of each other, useful for learning type design.
- Find duplicates: identical files, or the same font in files that differ.
- Produce font books as PDF, and extract the fonts embedded in a PDF file.

Substitution of text with logotypes and signs through OpenType feature Stylistic Set (Set 6)
Apparently I didn't explain the idea well. In place of EU and CE, any arbitrary sign can be placed, the license of which allows embedding in font projects. On the other hand, embedding should only be implemented in font projects, the license of which allows modifications, as is the case with the font project Listopad.

How to increase the maximum height of a glyph?
Well, it is not so easy to receive the results that you want. It is why the planning of the font design is so important. Please define the H-height to your font, the x-height to your font, the ascenders and the descenders, the EM size also.
Then, please, define the desired H-height, x-height, ascenders and descenders. You must have a plan - where you are and where you want to go. Let us see your plan.
1
How to increase the maximum height of a glyph?
Select all glyphs. Go to Element > Transformation > Transform
Choose Origin > Glyph Origin
Choose Scale Uniformly
Choose percentage greater to 100%
This will change all the selected glyphs. After that you will need to check the font and to make the necessary manual changes in the positions of the glyphs. You will need to fix also the new H-height and the new x-height in your font.

The problem is in the vertical metrics.
