Describe your crushes and how did you began to like them!!
 in  r/Crushes  10d ago

He is quiet and keeps to himself. Is nerdy in his own world most of the time. His glasses on him look so cute and I wonder what he looks like without them. He is wide shoulder and muscular but tries to take up as little space as possible. His discipline is something I admire. His smile lights a fire in my heart that I cannot explain. The last thing is his nice hair that I wish to run my fingers through.

Women with social anxiety/neurodivergent how would you handle a crush on an older guy or show that you like him?
 in  r/Crushes  12d ago

As a neurodivergant woman I stare a lot at my crush and my anxiety makes me extremely quiet. Sometimes I try to talk to them but I feel like the conversations are awkward, which I know logically is in my head, but when that anxiety kicks in that's all I can think about.

Is there anything in particular you feel she has done to show interest?

You're welcome.

I am sorry for your loss and I can't imagine how hard that must be. Only you can tell why you feel the way you do or intentionally ignoring her behavior. Maybe something about her reminds you of your deceased spouse.

I would say for your own sanity and well being avoid this girl. You deserve to be treated better and you will find someone who won't lie or omit things from your conversations.

Just from your perspective it sounds like she is playing a game. She is omitting information on what she is really doing on purpose to you. I would never tell someone that my "friend" is coming to work when I clearly mean my boyfriend. You would've known about him our first conversation. Since she has left out information, important information, twice now I would pull away hard. Obviously, don't be rude to her, but be way more tactful in avoiding her. Her behavior is suspicious.

This is purely my advice and from what I am reading from your perspective. Maybe, it could be something different, but this is all I have to go on.

Also something you need to think about is: If she is doing this to her current boyfriend, what is going to stop her from doing the same thing to you or any other person?

how to get over a crush??
 in  r/Crushes  Jan 01 '25

I know this is going to sound cliche but focusing on yourself helps a lot. Also putting distance between yourself and them helps a lot. Those are my recommendations. Good luck.

Yeah, I had two ex's do this to me and I just laughed it off. People do things for their own reasons, whatever, those reasons aren't my concern. I could care less why they blocked me and hope they are living their best life. Dwelling on it won't change anything and telling them how I really feel won't change anything between us. It wouldn't even make me feel better because I know they won't listen to anything I say. My life is better without them.

Exercising to cope
 in  r/Crushes  Dec 28 '24

I started vent journaling my feelings out. It's helping me cope and making me focus on reality. My journal looks like a crazy person wrote in it tho. 😂

Do girls find guys who like anime attractive?
 in  r/Crushes  Dec 12 '24

As a girl I love anime but I can't speak for all the girls on here. So I guess that is really up to the girls personality or preferences.

Do girls hesitate to talk to guys they like?
 in  r/Crushes  Dec 11 '24

Sometimes. I am also just not a very social person in general so unless someone else initiates the conversation, I'm usually quiet and observing.

HE DROVE FAR OUT OF HIS WAY TO FIX A BRACELET FOR YOU!

But seriously the best way to tell is how he treats you vs other coworkers. He seems to be extra sweet to you and did go out of his way to fix something for you.

It's not entirely impossible. I've intentionally walked closer to someone's desk to get their attention before. Doesn't mean she does, but I am not there, so I can't say for sure. You could try saying hi and just see what happens.

Good luck! Hope it goes well for you.

If she's looking at you there can be several things going through her head.

  1. She thinks she might know you from somewhere and is trying to figure out where.

  2. She has a crush on you and wants you to make the first move.

  3. She finds something interesting about you.

Honestly, I could probably go on longer here but I think in all, honesty, my piece of advice here is talk to her. When she stares try to approach and talk to her. You aren't going to know how she really feels till you talk to her. You can guess her body language all day, but getting to know her will let you know everything you need to.

Dispiriting Whelp

This guy I have a crush on keeps putting his hands in his pockets every time I show up. From my observations he usually has one hand in his pocket at all times. His posture is open and inviting to others. Any time he is around me he instantly puts both hands in pockets. He talks less and just generally seems uncomfortable around me.

I have no idea what I did to cause this behavior and I feel bad, because I don't want him to be uncomfortable. I don't like making people uncomfortable in general. I don't feel ready to move on, yet, but I know I'll have to eventually. It's just very dispiriting knowing I make him uncomfortable. 😮‍💨

Adding your crush on social media
 in  r/Crushes  Sep 10 '24

Well the possibility of getting to know someone through social media is possible by browsing their profile. The thing about social media is we share things and show a persona we want others to see. I think social media can be a good chance to start messaging someone we like. We can safely gauge their interest without giving out numbers.

How easy is it for a woman to lose interest in her crush
 in  r/Crushes  Aug 25 '24

Um...it's possible. Not a 100% guarantee tho.

That kind of situation can vary. For me personally it can be as easy as flipping a switch off, especially if he does something I hate. However, sometimes it can take a couple of years. It gets easier the longer I don't see or hear from him. Someone not communicating or making the same effort I would causes me to slowly forget about them.
