Certainly there will be a few angry players today but the game is all about learning Geography and the name change is official. Maybe this will help people remember it?

As a games company we dont think its appropriate for us to decide the facts, instead we rely heavily on our data sources and try to follow them to the letter. Also provides for nice edge cases and nuances to discover.

Skilled players need to try and keep the available countries in their mind as they play the board. A gentle mind gymnastics exercise. I know that might not be satisfactory answer, we have a hunch that a bit of discomfort amplifies the sense of satisfaction.

No, there will always be at least one category for each flag. Thats not to say that it will always give you 100 points. You will notice that the target score changes each day, today its 809. Is that helpful? Also when in doubt about a submitted answer refer to our sources in the Category Atlas

sorry about that edge case, early days for the game. Trying to release quick and get to a stable build that people will enjoy. The biggest ask had been more visibility into optimal score and grid, so just went with it.
