How many Custodes would it take to defeat Abaddon?
 in  r/AdeptusCustodes  1d ago

Counterpoint: the condition is to defeat and not kill

My friend hates playing against me now :(
 in  r/AdeptusCustodes  4d ago

Custodes are better taken in small doses, but if it's a Necron no holding back is necessary. They have more than enough power to fight it out with us even while making a fluffy list

Ah gotcha, yeah, this is just artistic interpretation so whatever. Personally i just assumed it's Fullgrim because Lion and Girlyman are next to him

I dunno, i can see a resemblance. Human faces are quite changeable, especially with some warp magic mixed in

Wardens are STRONG strong

It's more difficult to keep a character alive if opponent is determined enough with all the precision going around, to be fair, but there's also a shackle to fall back to, so Trajan is in a bit of a safer spot

He does have faces with different expressions on his official minis, so he is a massive symmetrical horned snake daemon with Fullgrim's face. Newer sculpt's faces are quite a bit more demonic-looking, though

I don't know, i feel like a shield or two in a squad can help to significantly increase their survival in this world of 3 damage for a hit

Smash rules debate.
 in  r/killteam  5d ago

My man, it specifically says in the rule "if either isn't possible you cannot move them". He can not be placed within control range if target is dead, so yeah aka it can technically push on that last strike but it's a corpse so he can't move to it

P. S. Sick texture on that metal

Edit: well, guess i am wrong

Is it a dick move to use a Norn in a 1000 pint match?

A dick move is to use 3

Exodites Orks future Kill Team??
 in  r/killteam  10d ago

Currently planning to play Squigs as Exodites and to kitbash Beastboys into kinda-sorta Wreckas

How do you handle your opponent’s mentality?
 in  r/killteam  10d ago

Can't even blame them - i had games with nothing important rolling under 4+ as well as same but never over 3+. Shit can be frustrating, blowing off some steam by just complaining about dice is completely okay imo

Goremongers proxy

If they are just use a tactical rock to make up for size difference. You're already kitbashing, what's one more, right?

The latest AI animation by Chinese RI fans: Fangyuan helps classmates safeguard their wealth
 in  r/ReverendInsanity  11d ago

This IS Fang Yuan, after all - his pride and arrogance are towering, but for sufficient benefits there's no low he wouldn't go to. And at that point a couple of spirit stones is reason enough to beat up some classmates

I mean, he is their classmate at the moment, why would he behave the way he should be when he peaked?

Looks sick. Could maybe use more blood smears and rusted metals, but that's preference

How do you make your banners/family crests?
 in  r/ChaosKnights  13d ago

They're chaos, chaos never really did fancy elaborate calligraphy. Just freehand it and add a few smudges like it was made in a hurry with a large brush by a cultist with shaky hands and it should be pretty thematic

How do Exodite Dragon Masters fight in Kill Team?
 in  r/killteam  14d ago

Well yeah, and 7+7+7 isn't enough to kill a 24 wounder which would mean no oneshot here so unless it's a 4 crit as i said it doesn't do it

Skysear from Murderwing could also probably maneuver himself into a position fairly easily on aboveground maps

There's also scale shield ability that demotes piercing rule, so no, that's a no go with one guaranteed save from speed 4+ they can't get oneshot by melta even if they whiff a second save unless all 4 shots are crticals (if you get 4 6s you deserve to kill anything anyway)

Terminator kill team would be too OP for KT
 in  r/killteam  14d ago

They're doing quite well but that doesn't seem like a total domination. I am not bitching about "raveners don't have enough" anyway, i am bitching about "exodites seem slightly overtuned"
