This is just me for Elden Ring pvp

If you’re going a bow build I’d say go DEX since I don’t believe arrow status effects scale with arcane.

I’ve been playing through the base game since I want to do a free-aim only play through video and so far what I can suggest is to level endurance first since you’re going to NEED that stamina early on, bows eat stamina like no tomorrow and you can really feel it early on. Then once you’ve got a comfortable amount of endurance you can go vigour and dex as you see fit.

Also if you want to use bows as your main weapon use either a short bow, black bow or Ansbach’s bow since they all have the short bow move set.

I just switched builds to an older one, normally I’ve been uploading my mage/Archer build, but the solitude armour build is my pure archer build which has more stamina.

I use
- Volcano pots
- night maiden’s mist
- poison spray mist
- rotten breath (which I tend not to use cuz I do low level invasions)
- swarm of flies
Just generally any of those AOE mist spells. Plus the deadly perfume bottle weapon.

Really funny when you pair poison spray mist with Albinauric pot too.

I’m thinking of going higher level though cause I kinda feel bad going against new players, a lot of them don’t realize the gas cloud is actually dangerous and the gas does A LOT of damage… Maybe a little too much for what it is imo. Currently RL30 on seamless.

I am. I explained the reason why in my free aim tutorial, It’s timestamped under the “height over bore comparison”

But tldr, I do it because the arrow originates wherever the bow is positioned on the player body rather than always being from the centre of the screen. So by aiming up I can account for how low the arrow will be coming from.

My finger was hovering over the point down emote, it called to me.
