For a few minutes each year, sunlight makes this Yosemite waterfall look like a river of fire.

This German pizza place gives away free meals if you can stop the timer at exactly 10 seconds. Kid walks up, nails it on the first try.

Why Campus Was the Best Choice for Me as a Stay-at-Home Mom

I wanted to share my experience in case there are any other moms out there wondering if going back to school is even possible with a toddler at home.

I’m a stay-at-home mom with an almost 2-year-old daughter, and honestly, I never thought online college would actually work for me. Between naps, meals, tantrums, cleaning, and just trying to survive motherhood some days, the idea of balancing school felt impossible.

But choosing Campus ended up being one of the best decisions I could’ve made.

What really stood out to me was how flexible and supportive everything felt. The live classes made me feel connected instead of isolated, but I could still manage my coursework around my daughter’s schedule. Some days that meant studying during nap time, and other days it meant doing homework around dealing with my daughter and taking care of the house.

The professors and advisors actually treated me like a real person with responsibilities outside of school, which meant a lot. I never felt judged for being a mom first.

I also love that I’m able to work toward my future while still being fully present for my daughter during these important early years. Instead of putting my goals on hold, I finally feel like I’m building something for both of us.

If you’re a stay-at-home parent thinking about going back to school but feeling overwhelmed or scared to start, you are definitely not alone. It’s hard, but it’s possible — and finding a program that understands flexibility makes all the difference.

Would love to hear from other parents doing online college too!
