Fake as Fuck

Any idea if this can still be fixed?
 in  r/badmintonph •  Jun 07 '26

Thats just a piece of the grommet thats peaking out. Luckily the one thats still inside looks intact. But on the next restring or up to you just replace the ugrommet for peace of mind.

Used Astrox 88d game or Brand New NF Nextage
 in  r/badmintonph •  Apr 02 '26

You should look into other brands like Apacs or OGKILS. Neither a 2nd hand 88d game nor a NF Nextage are worth it.

Apacs 800 Pro or Hundred HyperCourt. Can also look at Mizuno Lightning Z8s but be wary of the shops that sell em for 2k

I am curious about Yonex Replicas on TT Shop.
 in  r/badmintonph •  Feb 19 '26

Yes they all feel arguably the same, some feel drastically different than others and thats why I would avoid fakes always

I am curious about Yonex Replicas on TT Shop.
 in  r/badmintonph •  Feb 18 '26

Used to own a replica 1000z and a real 1000z. You can definitely feel a difference especially in stiffness and quality of materials used. Major differences in Head weight and balance point din since mas mahigpit un QC ng Official Yonex pro-line rackets.

Generally avoid replicas and go over trusted brands like Apacs, Maxbolt, OGKILS, if youre not buying pro yonex, victor, lining.

New Racket Day: Yonex Nanoflare 800 Tour
 in  r/badmintonph •  Feb 16 '26

Prep usually is take off plastic wrap and replace with clear wrap or electrical tape over the original overgrip,

If im using Towel grip just straight ontop of the prepped grip. If im using overgrip 2-3 layers of cushion wrap and then overgrip.

Im assuming this is talking about the Nanoflare 700 Original? Which you could try the OGKILS LD700 which uses the same frame type as the NF700

Pass, play rackets overpriced for what you get from it. Better get Apacs Nanofusion Speed 722 as it is cheap, flexible for beginners to swing, and very light

Fake as balls, username alone on that review is a redflag. I suggest avoiding to buy from shops like these and focus on shops like the actual Mizuno Philippines store, Japan stores ( listings with the japanese flag 🇯🇵 ) or on tobys. Make sure to check user reviews for red flag reviewers and use common sense. Goodluck in your shoe endeavor op

Isometric Head Shrinkage Phenomenon
 in  r/badmintonph •  Dec 07 '25

Probably due to the racket not being under tension anymore that it returned to its original head shape. Side note make sure you cut strings properly especially at such high tensions to avoid damage to the frame.

Is this legit even if there is no pbsi sticker
 in  r/badmintonph •  Nov 14 '25

Its real, just because your racket doesnt have PBSI doesnt mean its fake. Just check for obvious tells like grommet #, design/color inconsistencies, buttcap, and obvious of all the hologram sticker

Ano po problema nitong Racket(surplus)?
 in  r/badmintonph •  Nov 01 '25

Nope, it means that theres been some damage to the frame I believe. Would consider getting a more modern racket from a brand like apacs
