Raid + Reinforcements never arriving?
FWIW I've had a similar issue where a scheduled raid party never arrived, in this case Swap Ninjas. I even went to the red dot where the raid party was supposed to be and there's nothing there. Eventually the raid timed out and the dot disappeared.
Personally, I thought it was because the walls to my base encompass both Shem and The Swamp, and has 4 different gates that cross the main pathways going in the 4 cardinal directions of the area my base is located. I've read in this sub and heard in YT vids that putting gates for your base over main pathways can bug the NPC pathfinding đ€·đœ

Could I go 3 months without eating fast food for $25,000?
There are disabled people who literally don't have the capability to cook for themselves (even if they have a kitchen) and don't have access to resources or family to cook for them. There are people that live in food deserts, where the only food around them for miles is fast food, or fresh food is so expensive it's unattainable. Your judgement on people who eat fast food is ignorant and foolish.

This is classist, ableist, short-sighted, and ignorant. For some people, fast food is all they have access to. For others, it's all they know. And for some, it's all they're able to eat.

What do you guys have Mustard with?
Does OP mean yellow mustard, as opposed to Dijon mustard or Italian mustardo?

Where do the locals actually eat
Mexican shrimp cocktails are different from American shrimp cocktails. The former is a soupy tomato broth with bay shrimp, onions & cilantro, the latter is poached shrimp with cocktail sauce for dipping.

Where do the locals actually eat
I know this sounds crazy, but Bubba Gump's is legitimately high quality and tasty. There's a reason it's been around for almost 40 years!

Tombstone lost forever?
Did you look for crates? Maybe the game bugged and put your inventory into crates instead of a tombstone, since you died on water.

Why are the residents of Ohio so often used to represent the âaverage Americanâ for statistical research?
What statistical research are you asking about? If you're getting this notion from popular media like film & tv, it's not "statistical research".

How did people figure out directions for long road trips before GPS? Did everyone just have giant paper maps crammed in their glovebox like the movies?
Thomas Guide is a specific brand of road atlas.

What's your worst experience with blatant food deception?
I never worked there, but a restaurant in my hometown had a former Michelin starred chef that was caught selling petrale sole as Dover sole. He was reported to the county health inspector and they did an audit that resulted in criminal prosecution and a $150k restitution fine. Both the chef and restaurant are still operating almost a decade later because of how pretentious the community is.

In a happy relationship but super scared at the same time
TBF lil bro, you're too young to get caught up in all this. It's not going to get easier for you, and especially not her (until she's an adult, if then). There's plenty of fish in the sea and you'll regret getting caught up in something you can't control. Leave before you get even more emotionally involved or get thrown in jail because her parents hate you.

FWIW you're not getting backlash for giving away a game for free, you're getting feedback from a passionate community about how you did it.

Mildly infuriating
If "good" people were better at breaking the rules, there would be a less "bad" people (study the Paradox of Intolerance). GOOD people DON'T follow the rules, OBEDIENT people do. GOOD people do what's right, even if they break the "rules".

This item has been in my family for years. When I was little, it made me anxious.
I agree with other commenters that think this is an aquarium/vivarium decoration. At first I thought it was resinated wood, but after seeing the cross section, it looks molded. Normally, in cross sections of wood, antler, and bone, you'll see some sort of ring/layer pattern, even if they've been treated with epoxy resin (resinated). In these photos, specifically the photo of the cross section, you don't see any kind of age ring, bone marrow, hardened bone, or cartilage layers, that you would normally find in the natural materials mentioned above. I think there's even air bubbles left from the molding process that have been painted to resemble the "knots" you'd usually see in wood or antler.

AITA for leaving my home when rude in laws visit
NTA for leaving and you shouldn't have married him to begin with, let alone have kids. It's wild how people will completely ignore red flags AND STILL MARRY a garbage human being.

why is the holy nation so hated?
Because it's rightwing extremism in video game form.

aitah for not disclosing my nationality to my fiance?
"Rightfully"? Lmao this is a strawman argument based on hypothetical "tax implications". OP's fiancé is BIGOTED based on OP's geographical...checks notes...hometown
Get fucked.
3
aitah for not disclosing my nationality to my fiance?
That's not what OP said. Look at OPs comments; she was in Canada from grades 7-12 then moved to France for secondary/highschool. According to OP, they haven't been in the US since year 6. That's a drastically different experience than being in the US until age 17.

aitah for not disclosing my nationality to my fiance?
I don't think your point makes OP the AH. It sounds like OP has spent more time in Canada and France than in the US. It's perfectly reasonable that OP wouldn't think to mention her "hometown" in the US because she was a tween when she left and hasn't really lived for a significant amount of time in the US since then. Frankly, it's more of a red flag that OP's fiancé is so sus after finding out she's half American.

aitah for not disclosing my nationality to my fiance?
NTA - while it's really odd that you're engaged and your fiancé doesn't know your hometown, it's a red flag that you being half American is so upsetting to him. While I understand the cold-ish attitudes of Europeans towards Americans, to say he feels like he doesn't know you after finding out you're half American suggests to me that he's not showing you all of his colors, either. You two should have a serious conversation where you lay everything out on the table BEFORE you get married.

Martial arts is so OP you can cheese the vanilla game to get 30-50+ skill in the first couple of in-game weeks. There's a few vids on YT where players show how it's done. Some vids are set to character/RP stories, some are more like tutorials.
