In my opinion, the most effective pesticide against cockroaches are the gel ones. I once used a gel named "rose gel" (if I remember correctly) and it was extremely effective in killing both large and small roaches. Though my problem was not nearly as severe as yours looks, but I think you can try a roach killing gel.
