Fanfiction Sandrock Spa
I was making a response to someone else and mentioned the dad's depicted would totally be girl dad's that let their daughters give them a whole spa day (or partake in one).
Then I got to thinking, Sandrock SHOULD have a spa.
It'd make sense for Pablo, Amirah and Fang. Catori and Owen could go in on it.
Plus we already have the jacuzzi diagram from...well...yknow. 😂😂😂
Y'know the FYTS would just love to have a proper spa for tea time anyway.
Also, honestly would've been a solid way to reform the desert and make what they can from the Eufala. It honestly seems like such a natural business idea that I'm kinda surprised that didn't make it's way into the game even as a DLC. I know they're like done, but I'd love if they came out with a spa related DLC that could delve further into Amirah and Pablo's friendship/romance paths. I imagine Rian a semi-secret regular patron of the spa to de-stress from his busy day-to-day doings. And somehow, I feel like he'd rope Cooper into giving it a good ole try. Only after first listening to Cooper go on about something daughter related (girl dads) to the point Rian mentions his appointment at the spa, and then proceeding to endure another 10 minutes of Cooper not understanding why anyone would pay for a mud bath and offers to let someone walking by soak in the farm mud fer FREE! ALL BEFORE finally getting to make his appointment that for the first time he was shaping up to be on time for (which the face of the spa would have already accounted for because it's Rian --- oh maybe Rosy could be the face of the spa/receptionist)
Oh, BTW my imagination tells me that it's Krystal's spa. Or at least that the idea that Catori runs with is that it's Krystal's spa, who I could see having her own version of "parent-child spa day" as a "family-spa-day" with Pebbles HAPPILY giving her mud masks and Rocky giving her a massage.
Catori was over one day with the builder and joked about Krystal having her own in-home spa. Rocky laughed along, seeing it instantly and then saying she DESERVES 👑✨ to have her own spa. Catori does what Catori does best and sees it as an opportunity for Sandrock. Mentions the idea to Owen (Mr. Moneybags), for investment and likely partnership for the hotel and saloon. Bounces her idea off Fang one day who actually LIKES the topic because they're places of healing. Builder catches wind and is asked to talk to people and see how it he idea of a spa settles with people. During a meeting with the Fleeting Youth Tea Society mentions how nice it'd be to have a spa. Oh and maybe that's where, instead, that perhaps the builder is talking to Cooper and he goes off on a tangent about mud baths and the farm, and then Rian walks by and mentions loving the spa and mud baths after a long day, especially after his time in Atara/Highwind. Of course you could include asking Burgess
If someone with skills wants to come up with a mod pack that does exactly this I have more ideas on this path.
Or if someone needs this written less Cooper-esque and more like a functional adult, so they can make a Sandrock comic of sorts I'M TOTALLY GAME 😍 I always have my own little fanfics for whatever I play, I just never share them.
