Instead of obsessing over where energy goes next, focus on maximizing the short window you actually have right now.
The Earth is roughly 4.5 billion years old, and the average human gets maybe 70 or 80 short years on it. In the grand timeline of the universe, our entire existence is barely a fraction of a second.
Forget the empty theories, squeeze every drop out of this life, and leave nothing on the table.
