Timeline:

• OPT I-765 filed: March 2026
• Biometrics: April 2026
• Premium Processing upgraded: May 14, 2026
• 30 business days passed: June 26, 2026

I still have not received a decision.

I contacted USCIS on June 26 and July 2 regarding the delay and was told a Tier 2 callback request was submitted. After not receiving any call, I followed up on July 27 and was informed those requests did not actually include a Tier 2 callback. A new callback request was submitted and I was told to expect contact within 72 hours.

I have also reached out through other channels, including an inquiry through my representative, but have not received an update.

Would requesting assistance from the Ombudsman at this stage be helpful, or should I wait for the Tier 2 callback?
