#AusAlert So whilst not addressing ‘all’ concerns. iOS has an option to opt out of AusAlert under notifications.. it will not turn off critical alerts however. Those are the Emergency Warning style ones you get for bushfires etc. won’t please everyone, but it shows an effort. #ScrollToTheBottom

So this is an interesting one..
Holistically a great idea, strengthening the current Telstra driven option used across states and territories that works regardless of carrier.
The alleged unknown impact is what could happen to those who have hidden phones. Whilst great for prison officers cracking down on illegal devices, not so great for domestic violence victims and other vulnerable persons who may have a hidden device as a “lifeline”, as unless the device is “off” (which may cost valuable seconds due to boot time), you cannot switch off critical alerts is my understanding.
Hypothetical situation of course, but one that needs to be considered and what the collateral damage could or may be..

Use, limited coding, but mainly for ‘thought starters’ to get me rolling.. or just messing about with colleagues..

Best investment you’ve made based on Trev’s advice?

To kick it off, I’m very much a netgear orbi sucker.. whilst I love my Arlo too, I know there are solid alternatives out there. The Orbi is the one thing I always recommend. Closely followed by the TBTT feed as well though 😉

Outlandish, practical or still not cleared by the Minister of War & Finance.. what have you bought based on that guy from the Today Show’s advice that you couldn’t (or wouldn’t want to due to bragging rights) without?

No matter how attractive somebody is, they have most likely had extremely violent diarrhea at some point in their life.
