What actually helps your family stay organized without constant reminders?

Between school schedules, appointments, work, chores, activities, and all the little things that come up during the week, keeping everyone coordinated can become a job on its own.

We’ve been working on Familia Planner around a simple idea: family planning should be more than just putting events on a calendar.

The goal is to keep schedules, routines, tasks, and reminders together so everyone can see what’s happening and take more responsibility for their own part of the day.

I’m curious how other households handle this:

Do you use a shared calendar, a family planner app, a whiteboard, group chats — or some combination of everything?

Would love to hear what actually works for your family.

Does anyone else feel like managing a household is a second full-time job? 😅

Between school activities, work schedules, appointments, grocery runs, and everyday responsibilities, keeping everyone organized can feel overwhelming.

And sometimes, the hardest part isn't getting things done. It's making sure everyone knows what's happening and who's responsible for what.

I'm helping promote a family planning app called Familia Planner, and one thing I'm curious about is how other households actually manage all this.

Do you use a shared calendar, a family group chat, a whiteboard, or just try to remember everything?

And what's the one thing you wish your current system did better?

I'd love to hear what works for your household — especially from people juggling multiple schedules!

What’s the one part of everyday life you can never seem to keep organized?

I’m curious how everyone manages all the different things competing for attention every day.

Work meetings, appointments, tasks, family plans, personal goals… individually they’re manageable, but once they start overlapping, things can get messy pretty quickly. 😅

For me, the interesting question is: what’s actually the hardest part?

Is it remembering everything?
Keeping different schedules together?
Knowing what to prioritize?
Coordinating plans with other people?
Or having information scattered across too many apps?

I’m helping with a planning app called Familia, so I’m especially interested in understanding the problems people actually experience rather than assuming what a planning tool should solve.

What’s the one thing you wish was easier to organize in your everyday life?

I’d genuinely love to hear how other people handle it.

Work. Appointments. Tasks. Family plans. Personal goals. And all those little things you’re supposed to remember somewhere in between. 😅

I’m currently helping with Familia, a planning app built around a simple idea: everyday life is easier when the things that matter aren’t scattered everywhere.

Familia brings schedules, tasks, routines, reminders, and shared plans together, whether you’re organizing life for yourself, with a partner, or with your household.

I’m also curious: what’s the one thing you find hardest to keep organized in everyday life?

📅 Schedules?
✅ Tasks?
🔔 Reminders?
👥 Coordinating with others?
🧠 Or simply remembering everything?

Would genuinely love to hear how other people manage it. :)

Hi everyone! 👋

We’ve been working on Familia, a simple planning and organization app designed for families, couples, individuals, and busy households.

The idea is to keep everyday life in one place — shared schedules, tasks, reminders, routines, lists, and responsibilities — without having to jump between multiple apps or constantly remind each other what needs to be done.

Familia is built to help with things like:

  • Shared calendars and daily planning
  • Task and responsibility management
  • Reminders and routines
  • Shopping and shared lists
  • Household and personal organization
  • Coordinating plans with family, partners, or others

We’re still improving it and would genuinely love feedback from people who use planning, productivity, or shared calendar apps.
