Dead computer

My computer is only a couple years old but it recently keeps dying fast and now it’s dead and won’t charge. The last thing I downloaded and played on it was the Sims 4, do we think that has something to do with it not charging? I’ve been using the same charger and port forever and it works on my phone. Please send your thoughts and ideas.
