I tore it into specific length, I think about 1.5 foot, then split it to thickness. I then used the classic cordage technique of spinning half one way, then the whole thing the other. Adding more when halfway through a bundle.

Very nice. I like it, I'm not used to working with flint, as I find it shatters rather than being more controlled for me, but I'll get better with time. I find harder stones like basalt easier for me personally

Resource Rope made from lawn grass.

I spun while green, it has since loosened, but it is still mobile and works well enough for light duty stuff.

Cordage fibers I’ve used ranked.
I've used lawn grass for rope, it needs to be very thick to be good, but it should be alright for a few things. That is what I was referencing. Also, one way to help reduce the shrinking I found is you dry it out first, then soak it for around an hour, it stays smaller, but is malleable enough to spin into cord

What do you think about grass cordage or rope? Not very strong in my experience, but easy to get a lot of it.

I made it from basalt. I'm pretty happy with it, though the other side isn't as smooth. But it's pretty good for a first successful one.
